Again scammers is coming up with new idea, fake Libra website.

Surprisingly again, Facebook Approve Scam ad!  Roll Eyes
If Facebook can't catch up phishing and scam websites  then this is their failure. Facebook has no time to verify ads. Just money making goal maybe.

What is the benefit of the removal of ad after the loss of people? If it takes 2-5 days to mark this ad that it is a scam! In the meantime, many will be hurt maybe.

It's 4 days gone, the Facebook system couldn't catch this phishing Libra scam project! Even after I saw the ad, I reported. How does this ad even exist? I'm disappointed to see ads system on Facebook.

A fake Libra Project (their own fake project) ad has been running on Facebook for last 4 days! so many users may have been affected by scammers.

There are so many of such FB Libra scams that I no longer reports.  Some are even FB adverts while others are postings.   I keep reporting and I see the posts aren't remove and the adverts still there.   I guess big companies like FB don't care about us, whether we will be scammed or not.   Just protect ourselves and don't be a victim

It's quite so sadf when big social media platforms like Facebook react so fast when you report nudity or insults but are very slow to act when you report outright scam or impersonation.
Imagine the scammers are even impersonating their very own coin, and they can't do anything about it. But try reporting racist or political remarks, they get taken down ASAP.

I gave up on Facebook/twitter.

They have all the resources they need to combat these scammers. They should at least spend a lil bit of resources to help the public and remove those scammers from further cheating naive users. Scammers will try and try their best to jump on this bandwagon. People should do their own due diligence before investing on anything. Else, it will be their fault if something goes awry.

So far I have not seen an active one in my feeds but this is a serious concern, they should know better, if they a human verifying those ads then it will not go through but if they have a bot and the word Libra is not in that algo of words to ban, then it can really get in, I wonder what would the management of Facebook will say, when people got scammed from those Libra coin imitation, because they have approve it in their system.

I keep reporting and I see the posts aren't remove and the adverts still there.

It seems like they prioritized reports by the numbers of unique reporters. I doubt lots of users do report things like this, which might explain why they're so slow.

It's quite so sadf when big social media platforms like Facebook react so fast when you report nudity or insults but are very slow to act when you report outright scam or impersonation.

Because checking nudity or insult is quite easy. You can take a look and see whether there are naked pictures over there or not, while impersonations/scam checks need their own DD.

they should know better, if they a human verifying those ads then it will not go through but if they have a bot and the word Libra is not in that algo of words to ban,

Almost ads platforms use a bot to pre-approve an ad and then check it if somebody reports it to them. It's simply impossible to manually check ads because that's way too slow, and they need money asap.

In short, keep reporting instead of posting here, and you'll probably see the ad gets removed sooner than later.

It's actually crazy how many Libra scams are out there and actually get made and seen every day, I think I've seen over 10+ websites/ads that are pretending to be Libra and attempting to scam facebook users. I've actually seen facebook ads about fake Libra coins as well.

Because checking nudity or insult is quite easy. You can take a look and see whether there are naked pictures over there or not, while impersonations/scam checks need their own DD.
That's true, I don't think a lot of people expect Facebook to be super fast with taking down impersonation ads, but when the AD is advertising a service that facebook themselves are in charge of, and they are letting people get scammed, it's a lot more different.

If Facebook can't catch their own phishing websites, then it is understandable how crazy they are to make money in the world! Companies like Facebook are so crazy about money making, that there is no time to verify their own fake website. !
