this news must be crowded and known by crypto fans, so that many people can find out about malware attacks,
Telegram bot is a little suspicious, that's why I never followed or used it, because it was feared the bot could take personal information and steal the assets that I have.

Right, the main thing to do is be careful when transferring funds or other things, because if we already know how to work safely in cyrpto, then there will be no worries about the malware, although basically malware is a dangerous virus too.

This has been around for quite some time now, it is no news, and it s really nothing to worry about. Although, I must say that this is one invasion is causing a negative impact in this ecosystem. However, it is important for people to stay conscious, and ensure that they are mindful of the sites, bots or any third-party applications they allow on their phone or PC.

Indeed, and for that reason we need to be cautious because it is literally speculative. As long as we have enough understanding about safety and security then we can easily handle such things particularly now. We need to be fully attentive when doing transactions, because of people who is capable on deceiving the some of us.

This is an old phising attempt..... It is a malware that replace your clipboard with the attackers address.
This is nothing new, and also one can easily avoid it. Just look at the address you copied and pasted. A simple double check is enough to avoid this attack. Everyone should always double check the address you are transferring your coins.
These news website usually comes up with old news as they do not have nothing new to talk, usually they come up with FUD news and now it is a warning about malware and phishing attacks, the only way you can be secure is to avoid clicking all the links and make sure the websites you visit are legit, scammers are trying their best to find a loophole to steal your coins because there is no charge back. Having a good antivirus software and other security software will help in protecting your system.

Does this mean all coins will be hacked if we use Telegram's services or provide information to them?
I currently use the fluctuation notification service in the MEW wallet and currently notify when an email arrives. So can they access my wallets and my email data?
You are likely to be hacked if you are signing up with phishing sites. Don't sign up or give information any of your login details to anyone or any website that you are unfamiliar with if they ask for it. And if you receive an email from a stranger and they have given a link for you to click, please don't bear with it and never click it.

Cryptocurrency currently still has many vulnerabilities. Especially it has significant risks for beginners. Therefore, it must and will continue to develop and transform. In the first half of this year alone, hackers, thieves and various kinds of fraudsters stole more than four billion dollars from cryptocurrency holders. This is a very large amount to not pay due attention to this problem.

The article doesn't say what you can do to combat most of the hacking attempts.
Basically, don't hold your private keys on the computer txt files, avoid pasting them, double check the pasted public address.
And on the exchanges, always use the google 2fa, not 2fa txt message confirmations.
You should protect your email too with all the possible ways that service provider gives you.

At least those are main things i do avoiding getting hacked.
Also not installing any extensions or new programs and such on my computer i use for crypto.
I might be paranoid getting hacked though. I even covered the camera on my laptop.

Scammers just can’t get their hands off other peoples coins thus they continue to create malware to rip people off. These scams are not new to everyone of use thus, we should know better, with all types of scam going on all over the world we should be very careful most especially if we are dealing with our coins, if we have to double check every detail then do it, we should live by the famous saying “Prevention is better than cure”, it is a way better to do all the things that can prevent us from getting scammed instead of being lenient and later on regret it.

Is that really how the virus works? just by email and the application can take all the coins we have? How can? it won't happen that easily. I do not know how the virus system and hacking wallet that we have. is it only for desktop or online wallet also included?

I haven't seen such powerful malware that can do that actually, they are using phishing attempt, the best reason I can think about telegram being subject to malware is its open source for links, allowing different parties to send anonymous link to other that might be the tool for hacking. In that case, it is upon us to provide out information, but we should always take into considerations that our privacy matters for each and every information that we will give out.

By installing the antivirus it can avoid being exposed to malware, which must be reminded here are the users or brainware. Most of those who are infected with a virus on their computer devices because the users do not understand very well what will be downloaded, installed on their devices. Now also a lot of anti-virus that can be used for anti-malware, once again that the brainware must understand very well what will be done to the computer device because malware should be very easy to handle.

The Juniper Threat Labs group says “Masad Stealer sends the majority of the data it gathers [through] a Telegram bot constrained by the risk on-screen character.” This new malware targets Bitcoin, Monero (XMR), Cardano (ADA), Ether (ETH), (DASH), XRP, Litecoin (LTC) and such different cryptographic forms of cryptocurrencies.

So as to comprehend the gravity of the risk, process this reality: A location associated with ‘Masad Clipper and Stealer’ has gathered Bitcoin worth more than $9000 till date. The malware is being promoted on hacking discussions. It is really being sold through a layered methodology. It begins with a free form and it tends to be moved up to one with all highlights for $85.

News Source: TheCoinRepublic

To avoid malware that will steal our coins, we better not click on suspicious links and always check the security website. Suspicious links are always sent via email and we must be vigilant when receiving emails that contain suspicious links and it is better if the sender is unknown to us, we just delete the email
