As Bitcoin celebrated its 10 years of existence it has no doubt that it will add more ten years of operation. For ten years I see that many more countries will embrace the future of positive outcome of decentralized system. More people, companies, investors and countries will open up their minds and heart regarding what btc really is. But of course there are also coming out of different issues regarding btc as similar to present time, maybe more scammers will come up  but it can also solve and surpass whatever issues and troubles btc will pass by.
However you know not all people believe in this scenario, some detractors and critics thinks it is just a passing trend. But for us, we strongly believe what btc can do to our technology.

In a short period (as compared to the fiat currencies we have around) of time, Bitcoin  was able to achieve many things. Now, Bitcoin is starting its journey for the next 10 years. There are many challenges and maybe even negative developments that can severely affects its viability but at the end of the day I am sure that Bitcoin can be able to weather them all.

How do you see Bitcoin 10 years from today?

For 10 years of Bitcoin, a lot of people all over the world has found out that Bitcoin can change their life situation in terms of financial problem.
And in for 10 years of bitcoin success, nowadays in the entire world so far there are lots of merchants too are now being used Bitcoin and accepted as mode of payment to their business and some countries too regulated it too.

in 10 years the price has increased so much, in 10 years more people have joined the crypto community, in 10 years more companies have been created thanks to bitcoin... But in 10 years I have not seen many countries create laws that would be beneficial to bitcoin, in fact I don't see countries saying they are going to make laws that are good for bitcoin, in 10 years it's still very hard to see many countries accepting bitcoin as a means of payment. There are still many things to do.

How do you see Bitcoin 10 years from today?

I wish 10 years from now we would use bitcoin to buy things in the real world, not having to use third parties to buy things in the real world with bitcoin

As we know "BITCOIN" was born since 2009 and until now it had a great performance (from 0.00001$ in 2009 to 19k$ in 2017) and now (8800$) that's a 10 year challenge! In my opinion BITCOIN will depass 20k$ after 10 years if Banks adopt blockchain technology in their system and start financial operations with cryptocurrencies, either there is no hope from BITCOIN to increase if it will stay decentalized it can decrease in any moment and after 10 years there is a possibility that it decrease until 100$. It's just an estimation but no one can estimate how it can be 10 years from now.

How do you see Bitcoin 10 years from today?

10 years from now, I'd see bitcoin like a kid whom has grown up and experienced all kinds of turbulence in life. The first 10 was bitcoin being educated about the world and knowing what things were about. Now for the next 10,bitcoin would travel the world and let them know who he is. Bitcoin can only really improve at this point cause of the amount of people starting to adopt the blockchain technology and how more and more people manage it, ensuring improvemtns in all angles.

I think in 10 years Bitcoin will actually be used as a store of value by more people. Right now everyone is just speculating with it. In best case, also micro transfers will also be a use case for BTC.

I don't like the overall lack of bitcoin adoption that is today.
Bitcoin has been around for more than 10 years now, but I don't see bitcoin accepted as a form a payment yet (for the large retailers) and it should have been already.

Not to mention that a few months back even the Bitcoin Conference wasn't accepting bitcoin as payment... That speaks for itself on the confidence of Bitcoin being a payment system.

I'm not fortune teller so i couldn't predict bitcoin on that year but one thing for sure bitcoin will be 20 years old and if the people on that age they already through adolescence and near to mature but my wish similar such as people here mass adoption will be happend on that year and i could use my bitcoin for my daily life and also i do not forget about the price hoping it will be very high than now

Bit of old news, but I'm happy I saw this and I'm finally able to share my thoughts on this amazing goal. Over 10 years of BTC, we have:

1. Hit 20,000 USD per coin.
2. Become a top 30 currency (not just cryptocurrency).
3. Been on the news several times.
4. Inspired goverments to use blockchain technology behind BTC to create their own centralized versions.
5. Helped create thousands of other coins.
6. Become fairly mainstream, with a pretty decent adoption rate.

So far we are doing great and if we can keep up with the developments, Bitcoin will be in a very good position, I cannot make a precise prediction because of the market condition that keeps hounding us since last year, we don't know how long will this last, and when will this stop, there is always the threat of bubbles, because these big names that keep spreading fuds are still non believer and I don't think they will become believer.

If you see from the past ten years many of the trips we take as Bitcoin users, there are many negative and positive news stories about Bitcoin, but Bitcoin has even strengthened over the years and even the issues for terrorist funds were debated by individuals who did not like Bitcoin, and over time Bitcoin remains consistent with the goals that are run from all users, so the possibility for the next 10 years will be very different and bitcoin will run well and more and more new users to use Bitcoin as an asset they trust for the next 10 years. .

Indeed. Bitcoin is the most valuable cryptocurrency, that is why there is no doubt that bitcoin will still be the number 1 cryptocurrency 10 years from now. After all, Bitcoin is the only cryptocurrency which have reached it's price up to $20 k in the year of 2017, so there is still a chance for bitcoin to reached it's price or recover it's price again up to $20 k for more people will invest and buy bitcoin in the near future.

Ten years from now, we will see another 2 or 3 more halvings. Each halving event comes with some sort of volatile price increase, at the conservative level would mean doubling in value.

This has not been the case in the past halvings, as we can now tell because it's all history.

In about 10 years, we will have mined more than 99% of all bitcoins, and the supply will be around 20 million, of which several unknown, but estimated 7 to 8 million are lost forever. That leaves us with 12 million coins in circulation.

Adoption will have grown at least another ten fold by then.

What that means for the actual technology, it's use cases, the mining hash power, is unknown, but we can guess correctly that it trends to go up.

As someone else said, it's not really optimistic to see 100x in 10 years, which implies $1m per coin. Save a few, buy a few, hold onto it. Find another way to keep you sustained like meaningful employment or some other business and you'll be fine.

Hopefully Bitcoin will still be around 10 years for now. It's a possibility, it went
through a lot of stuff in it's 10 year stretch. We've seen it climb up and down
the market, it's well recognize globally and it's widely utilized. I expect bitcoins

If many countries will accept the bitcoin as early as possible maybe it can change the trading of different countries across the world and if lucky maybe it will replace the fiat money and make bitcoin as a mode of some payment.
