Just going through the list of trending news making waves across the globe in last 24 hrs and I came across the news item on a memorial held in remembrance of the late journalist Khashoggi. After a year on, justice has no been served and it seems press freedom would continue to suffer across the globe. It is clear that those responsible for his murder are really powerful and hence they would surely get away with such a serious crime as murder. This is really scary for all journalists who wants to express their themselves on various issues involving the rich and powerful in the society.

it's not actually confirmed that was the real reason why he was killed/murdered/disappeared (or even exactly what happened to him). Of course, it's not an unreasonable supposition to think it, but there is no genuine evidence.

I say this in particular because Kashoggi had a colorful family background; he was nephew to the famous Saudi arms dealer Adnan Kashoggi. Adnan Kashoggi has an extraordinary reputation and life story, he was selling weapons into the 1980's Iraq/Iran war, as well as the contras in Guatemala (or was it Nicaragua?). He was ridiculously wealthy, was well known for parties that lasted 3-4 days at his luxurious properties, in places like Spain and the USA. In other words, Uncle Adnan had some really strong political friends in US and Europe, which of course he needed to be an arms dealer in wars that US and European powers were involved in.

So was Jamal Kashoggi just an innocent Saudi journalist, fighting the House of Sa'ud for the Saudi people? Maybe, but growing up with an Uncle like Adnan, he could easily have been doing another job (or 3) at the same time, using the journalist role as cover (which also gave anyone he annoyed the cover they needed to kill him). Without any proper evidence, it's difficult to say anything for certain.

Last I heard they knocked out Khashoggi before they started to saw him up if the transcripts are to be believed.  That surprised me.  The Saudis are big into dismemberment but usually they do it while the target is fully conscious in order to enhance to level of terror.

It could be that this is a high-level conspiracy only people involved this case who know the main reason for this murderer.
Some people said that powerful person in the Arab kingdom was involved in this case, so you could say that this was a conspiracy.
This case will forget by people because they know this is about political.

What are you talking about?  Everyone knows that MBS had it done by a team of his men and it was 'strongly suggested' that he was in real-time contact as the event was taking place.  MBS wanted the world (and in particular, his enemies) to know and they practically advertised in detail which left relatively little to the imagination what went down in the first few days with the help of the Kushner team and certain U.S. Congressmen.

This isn't some sort of a blemish on MBS's record although it did probably cause a few minor political complications.  What it is is like when a fighter pilot paints a mark on his plane for every one to look at.  It's also not a 'crime' in any practical sense of the word.  People like MBS don't commit 'crimes'.

Haven't heard any of this as a theory before, not saying that you're not to be believed. I think it's just more believable that the Saudis would kill someone that doesn't agree with them due to the fact that they have done it before.

This whole event was tried on like 6 other people as well, though Khashoggi was the first one to actually enter the embassy and we all know where that led him.

Yes everyone heard or read this from Media, that MBS involved in this case with team and this is called conspiracy, Khasoggi not only journalist, I think that he have crusial information, that can damage politicians reputation on his country. This is only my opinions because why should cover this up and why it took so long to uncover the truth about this.

Khashoggi was a nobody. He was only held up as a paragon of virtue in the media because of his connections to the Washington Post. The Saudi Arabian government and MbS have always been bloodthirsty murderers, and tracked dissidents using FaceBook and Google information provided to them. There was another journalist killed in another bizarre circumstance right after Khashoggi was, but I don't recall many people talking about him. The reason that Khashoggi's death was heightened in the media was to drive a wedge between Trump and the American public after Trump began to try to get some exclusive deals penned between the US and the Saudis. We wanted them to not give money or economic help to China and / or Russia. It's better that they work with us and keep their money coming to our country rather than our enemies. Trump played a very dangerous game at the time, and did it well. Khashoggi was accused of beating his wife, and even divorced her to marry his mistress, who was with him the day he entered the embassy and never returned. Caring about him for longer than the media did is more than he deserves. Let him rot in Hell.

Justice is rarely served when it comes to the rich and powerful, Though i am Trump fan look at the way the issue turned nobody seems to care when someone is murdered when they are billions of dollars to be made, Look at the various allegations and potential witnesses against the Clintons and none of them seems to be able to stay alive when it comes to trial.
