If it is true, You should be backing anything over $10,000 in value in cold storage. Even if your computer got hacked, they would physically need to know the password and have the device to touch your coins. I can't comprehend anyone that would store $100,000s or more without the usage of a cold storage wallet. A hot wallet is fine if its $100s or $1000+, and you were just using it to buy a cup of coffee or for small-time usage. Great provider of cold storage: https://trezor.io/I would OP, contact the main exchanges, provide as much info as you can.

The situation of the OP was out of lack knowledge, grees and ignorance because 1) Holding huge amount of on web wallet is highly risky 2) He ought to have notice something fishy after receiving an authorization login email from blockchain which he didn't do right after he installed the file. 3) alot of crypto users have said almost the same story which I believe should have be a lesson for others.

your post is making me more depressed now thanks you
Dude. I only went back 24 hours because I want to go to bed but your coins were here 3QMY8q3fFLD6WWKD67tcyvHitt4VLL5hPj one day ago and they were moved twenty-two times shaving off small amounts until they arrived here 3MvJXaiPc3N15dwXJLuA8tNN8JAhxSt1GH about 8 hours ago with about 110 Bitcoins left. From there, I have a visualization for you: So they end up in "your" wallet after 5 more txs at 2019-10-02 23:51:38 and finally to the "hackers" wallet some 40 minutes later at 2019-10-03 00:31:50. ...but you said " i do not touch my bitcoins because i have been holding for some time i rarely use to pay for online stuff if my credit card no working" I suggest to you that you may be depressed but it has nothing to do with losing 100 Bitcoins. My condolences to your wife (if she exists) Hey xhomerx10: which tool is that one? Thanks, Fillippone

That looks like blockchain(dot)com's transaction tree visualization. Just search for any transaction, click " view tree chart" next to " visualize:" and click the circles to expand/extend the branches.

Feeling sorry for OP about your loss. I want to clarify that you will never get back your bitcoin. Bitcoin isn't reversible and there is no any other way to back it. If you are talking about ip address then you are wrong, hacker will never use their original ip address during hack. See how greed destroy our life. You were had $820,000 but you were greedy just for 10BCH. In a result you lost your total fund forever.
To be honest it wasn't really easy task to hack you blockchain wallet. There was 4 step security, password, IP verification, 2FA and second password. You just provide them all the details. Why you were not thought you might hack. I am wondering someone from your near involved with this attack who know about your bitcoin and about your habits. And this attack happen by known peoples, it's just my suspicion.
On the other hand why someone should store this huge amount of bitcoin? A hardware wallet isn't high price for you. Or you might use other software wallet like electrum or core.
However, you just lost money, it doesn't mean you have to lose hope of your life. It's a lesson for you, money could be earn once again. But life only one, if it's gone then it will never back. So past is past, go ahead with future. It was a costly lesson for you.

i have used this website to watch private stuff http://desixnxx2.net/ this first time happend i scan my computer all every month no virus found i also got ip address of hacker country says ghana. AlexAndaw, I think you were forced to download or update something on that porn site. Its kinda common to have sudden popup on these porn sites and they forced to click on the yes button. In most of the cases without clicking on yes button visitors can't go forward or back page. Undoubtedly its a clear trap where hackers use this kinda porn sites to plant their hacking tool or file on visitors device. Most probably you have done something similar like that If i am not wrong. Feeling really sad after hearing about your loss and its unexpected too. I hope you will be able to recover your losses soon. Please clean your computer before downloading any other wallet for future use.

I felt really bad when i read the Subject but now this all seems to be made up.
you claim to have ~100 Bitcoins that you did not move but can clearly be seen to have been moved multiple times, over the past days.
It seems you are just trying to phish us or just play a trick.
Regardless, even if true- nothing can be done anymore. If given you porn choice, you are indeed Indian, there is even less that police will do about it as the legality of Bitcoin is on the very negative end in the country right now. Just call it a expensive lesson and move on

It's a surprise that the OP don't know blockchain dot com is providing the option for second password which is asked before sending the currencies if he set the second password that would have saved his (BTC100 is huge) currencies. Sorry for your ignorance OP.

Im sure OP does learn his lesson. Setting 2fa just takes a minute to finish right? We can't say he's is ignorant, He's just a victim that was targetted by a hacker.
He actually had 2 FA on. OP's biggest problem was greed if all he's talking about is true and maybe not trying to get himself a hardware wallet for that amount. I mean how do you to claim a shitcoin worth $2500 out of a random popup message yet you already have solid BTC worth $820,000. It doesn't make any sense

I have no sympathy for OP for the following reasons: 1) Storing a substantial amount of coins on a web wallet you don't control the keys to. 2) Blindly running software/scripts from untrusted parties to get some second-rate shitcoin like BCH. (Not) Sorry For Your LossThis is brutal but has many truth in it. If OP wouldn't lost his BTC now, he would month later or year later. No question about it. Zero knowledge how to store BTC, zero knowledge how it works, zero responsibility for keeping $820000 for his family. Sad but OP didn't put ANY work into learning about what hes putting money into.

Great provider of cold storage: https://trezor.io/I would OP, contact the main exchanges, provide as much info as you can. I would say that you should be backing any value that you can't afford to lose in cold storage and not just a defined number. If you can't afford to lose $100 then you should not be storing that amount in a hot wallet. $1000 for a lot of people is a life changing amount for those that live in poorer countries. I would recommend a trezor only when you are storing a huge amount of Bitcoin because they can be pricey otherwise and a paper wallet generated correctly is just as safe and there are tutorials and tools out there to make this almost idiot proof. FOR CRYING OUT LOUD! OP's story is a FABRICATION!
But the question remains why would someone go out of their way to fabricate a story like this? They do not gain anything at all

We can't possibly know his internal motivation for lying nor can we know the reward. I do feel like he's watching though with every thread bump; a little gleam in his eye and a stupid grin on his face. For my part, I'm un-watching this thread.

I wouldn't be surprised if OP is just fishing for Merits.
Or he really believes that someone can help him recover/steal those 100Btc and send them back to his address. I didn't buy his story since all addresses which sent coins to "the hacker" address by that date are Segwit and AFAIK blockchain.com only support Legacy addresses.

Nature has created two main ways for living beings to learn things, pleasure and pain. Pleasure should be our favourite choice, but each time we don't do our homework then plan b steps is - and that is pain. It looks like you have taken the second learning route this round. The bad news: you won't recover your loss. The good news: you've learned something very important, even though at a really high price - take care of your funds, store them in a safe hardware wallet or in a paper wallet. The marginal news: Almost everyone in crypto has sooner or later paid the bitter price of not having done their homework (me included). What makes a difference is the way one uses these lessons. EDIT: Reading the latest posts it seems the story may be a fabricated one. In this case I'd have made a mistake, and waisted 5 minutes of my life. Well, I'll take this lesson

Because they then come back later and flat out beg for BTCThat or they come back later as another person who was also hacked, and try to fish for money to start a lawsuit. -Dave
