Though that one will be helpful but it's the player's responsibilities to double check the amount of their bets. There's a lot of players, aside from VIPs, who can bet bigger than the amount that OP's lost. Most of us who plays this kind of gambling surely experienced mistakes like this, some might accidentally win using the same mistakes but most are regretting since is not irreversible.

You must be kidding with saying 0.005 btc lose still a good thing. 0.005 btc is worth around $45 dollars now, it's big money especially in 3rd country which having hard time about their economy (some of them even got paid less than $1 in an hour). Aww that's sad. This kind of unwanted situation is a lesson, not only for op but also for everyone. That before making your bet, double check everything and make sure it's correct based on your preferences.

We made errors sometimes, but with that situation of our buddy was very sad, it costs a lot. If someone would bet on that 0.01 btc without noticing it was big enough compared with other bets, probability of losing your money is 100% likely happening. Before that situation happens, you shouldn't deposit huge funds so that you won't tend to do that errors while playing dice game.

thats exactly what im thinking in the past as i am also a victim of my own diligence of betting when drunk or sometimes sleepy and have not double check the bet before rolling

but i doubt this will bother the site owner and developer because this favors them as the losers growing because of this simple mistakes

but hoping that some sites will start implementing such safeties so the players might have warning or permission before starting to roll

Further on the consecutive bets went for a double the value. This all of the sudden emptied my wallet. I didn't watched the wallet until the bet amount in the tab turned zero. Further watched the bet history and understood what big mistake I've done.

This is the common scenario for most of the gamblers out here, the same thing also happened to mine, it was fun winning and watching our bets getting doubled every roll we make, at that point I was start losing, but I ignored it, thought I was going to win again the next roll, but I didn't, I lost it all, the capital I've had, and the profits I've made in the few rolls.

I've realized that after a win, don't let it go into your head, stay humble and focus, cash it out which is the best thing we could ever do before greed take over us.

Lost amount is not too much to feel wrecked but anyone while betting should be careful with their bet amount most no matter at any site,no site can be responsible for human errors.

It may kind of a low amount for others but it could be his last money and he don't have the intention to gamble all of his remaining balance. There are occassions that it's not really on the amount you bet but depends on the situation you are with.

If he is on his final savings then he would immediately moved it to cash out or at least he will be more attentive of what he was doing so this could not be the situation here but yes it depends on the situation what will be his reaction if he did the same thing with 1BTC.

From my, nth mistake (I didn't count it) that is where I made a technique for my self.
Copied the bet I will make with lots of zero's which is also accurately checked and then just keep on pasting it after I changed the bet amount.

Recently in a news article read about a 24 year old winning $10+ million an bigticket lucky draw of UAE. He has bought earlier, and forgot about the ticket. He has been called four times, but he hasn't picked the call. Further some notice period has been given for confirming. Somehow he managed to get the information and cross checked the ticket thrice and confirmed his winning. This is pure luck.

This is sad at the same time funny. I have been through this before, placing a bet and forgetting to put a 0 or a dot (.) before the amount. When I use ETH for betting, I normally place 0.1 ETH above or just .1 especially when I am in a hurry trying to hit that sweet odds before the site will change them. But sometimes my bet would turn out 1 whole ETH even if my intention was just to place 0.1 ETH. I am just lucky that my wallet does not have much because when I erroneously place 4 or 5, there is an error saying I don't have enough balance.
