Hey everyone! My name is Jason, and I'm the owner of flashflip, a cryptocurrency gaming bot integrated right into Discord.

You can join the server at http://flashflip.io and view some commands at http://flashcrash.io/about. In order to bring some fresh faces to the server, I'm hosting a little competition with some exciting prizes to be won.  (Naturally, in order to win any of these prizes, you need a Discord account and a bit of bitcoin to play with, which can be deposited into the bot by running the command !deposit).

Rules:
  • One person can only win one prize.
  • To be eligible for a prize, you must post below. (For example, if player A meets a prize requirement and player B meets the same requirement a minute later but also posts on this thread, player B will receive the prize.)
  • To be eligible to receive a prize, your bitcointalk account must be at least 24 hours old at the time this thread was made.
  • Users with negative trust from a Default Trust member are not eligible for the contest.
  • Games must be played in a public Discord server, preferably the official flashflip server. Games played in direct messages with the bot will not count.
  • If prizes remain unredeemed, I reserve the right to cancel this contest as I see fit.

Contests:

1. Win a game of coinflip by betting the maximum amount (which is currently about 0.01 BTC). The command for this is !heads max or !tails max. Prize: 0.003 BTC (3,000 bits) Congratulations, Perchlorate!

2. Win 10 games of "bank" in a row with a bet of at least 0.05 BTC per game. Prize: 0.003 BTC (3,000 bits)

3. Make a single deposit of 0.01 BTC or more, lose enough money until your balance reaches 0.002 BTC, and recover back to your initial deposit amount. (You must publicly check your balance to be eligible for this prize.) Prize: 0.005 BTC (5,000 bits)

4. Place a maximum bet on "bank" by running the command !bank max. Prize: 0.005 BTC (5,000 bits)

5. Win five games of rock-paper-scissors against the bot (in a row) with a bet of 0.01 BTC or more on each game. Prize: 0.01 BTC (10,000 bits)

Good luck, and happy flipping!

PS. Please only post below if you have won a prize.

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

OP I wish you a lot of success in marketing this "cryptocurrency gaming bot integrated right into Discord" but I don't think there will be many members interested in this contest taking into consideration how high reward amounts are and compared them to requirements.

Additionally, contest number 2 has 150+ times high wagering in a service that nobody knows advertised from an account with almost no creditability.

The best way for you to convince a couple of high ranked and established members from this forum to test your bot is to give them free money to play with in return for honest reviews.
This is what always worked the best and promotions like this with low payouts and high wagering requirements rather end up in the abyss  Wink.

Thanks for your support. I'm not interested in giving away free money for no reason, but contests like this one are something I'm willing to try out to see if it's worth the influx of new users. There are quite a few notable users who have already shown interest in the bot (RHavar, the owner of bustabit, helped test it in its early beta phase, the owner of EtherCrash.io is currently the top winner with over 0.14 BTC in profit, and a popular YouTuber in the gambling space [StackGambler] is on the flashflip support team).

I hope this thread leads to more people checking out the bot, and hopefully winning big.

The minimum amount you can bank is 1 bit (100 satoshis), and the maximum is currently 0.98 BTC, but this fluctuates a bit based on the bankroll. The current challenge is unfortunately set in stone, but I may consider reduced requirements for future challenges.

I told you when this thread started:

...I wish you a lot of success in marketing this "cryptocurrency gaming bot integrated right into Discord" but I don't think there will be many members interested in this contest taking into consideration how high reward amounts are and compared them to requirements...

It may seem different to you but I really wanted to help.

I have a lot of experience because I participate frequently in such promotions and giveaways and that is why I wanted to warn you that there is a big chance nobody will be interested in this one because of high requirements and low rewards.

I know that this is not what you want to hear but free money is the best way to convince Bitcointalk members to check your service/website/casino and to give a review in the end.

Especially if OP is a new forum member and the website has no history and already established name or trust.

This can be only a couple of bucks but for sure free money works the best when promoting such a new website.
