Many project has built based on blockchain but this blockchain has still the space for many new projects

Distance learning programs those are actually recorded programs where students learn by themselves by attending the lectures and at the end they appointed the degree certificate, this program has still a space because private universities charged too much, for just a bachelor program they charge around $58K to issue the final degree certificate known as hardcopy which could be recognized by many government institutions so they may only not continue the education to the next level but they could also get a job in any government or private sector, So I think if there is any university which is recognized by the govt or any reputable university like Harvard can offer their programs on blockchain platform, they can also reduce the cost because a student will teach himself just like they teach themselves by attending the udemy courses by just paying the maximum $200 so even a student with many financial problems could be able to get a degree/diploma which could be recognized by the governments and other private institutions too. Then we will be able to call that the education is free. It is sad to say that we are in 2020 but still the education is not free.

What you are talking about, I think it is in the area of open university or open learning system where student can teach themselves and not necessarily being physical with a teacher. So many countries run such programs these and that is helping the educational system especially giving people who are already employed, either self employed or with the government the opportunity to further in their educational careers.

Well that is good if a project will take that up, that will further fortify the educational system across the globe.

It is useless to attend such courses through open university or another online source as these so called universities do not issue a physical degree, government and other institutes/org do not recognize them and you can not get a job when you do not have a degree.

I am searching for PhD in Blockchain at some University. the only accept that I get from London University but they didn't support the students in the finance phase. and we all know that London needs money for the rented room and ... etc .
and about other universities .. unfortunately, there is no blockchain in the subjects list. all I see are AI and deep learning, data science.
When Blockchain will be famous?
------
Ps: Please if you have a link of some Blockchain PhD offers share with me. thanks

Big companies don't recognize Udemy, Linkedin Learning, and similar video courses. That's because watching videos will not make you a programmer without practice. Like in every other thing in life.

The closest to recognizable education you will get online for cheap is The Open University - http://www.open.ac.uk/
OU have bachelors and masters programs in Computer Science and many more. OU accepts students from almost all countries and the tutor fee is usually 1 500 GBP/y.

OU also have a Blockchain research department- https://blockchain.open.ac.uk/. But the OpenBlockchain doesn't offer any courses at this time.

The closest Blockchain recognizable certificate you can get online are the Coursera Specializations for ~$49/month.
