Well, I experienced this yesterday. My friend and I decided to gamble at a live casino and he gamble there in poker and sit on the table.
I have an idea in player poker in Online casino but I did not try to play in Live casino. At that moment while watching him playing I think it is very easy to identify your opponent's faces and defeat than in online gambling casinos.

Which do you prefer to gamble poker in an online casino or in live casinos?

If you started playing in a live casino you know the feel of the players and the atmosphere that accompanies each match, you feel the emotion but you know that you need to hide and so is the other person it's all about handling the pressures, you cannot find it in an online casino, you are playing as is, you will win because of luck and how you deal the card, but totally different when you are face to face with your opponent, so if you want excitement playing live can give you that.

In live casinos, you can see there face of course and take a hint of what sort of cards or power plays that will your opponent will use. In that case, you could think of the possible ways to defeat them or at least, minimize your losses. Card counting in live casinos is easier than playing online poker. Nevertheless, it will be all go down to the player's skill and not in the mode of the game.

If I do have funds to play in a live casino, I'd go with it rather than playing online. In addition to what you have said about advantages of playing live because you could see their faces, the chances of cheating is much lower than when you are going to play online. The another advantage of playing casino live is you could socialize and make friends, it is not healthy to stay in your room all day sitting playing poker online.

The disadvantage of playing casino live is that you'll be exposed and your relatives might see you and they will start to nag you for playing in the casino.

I can see it divided into several different groups of people and several different reasons for online vs. live and reasons for both.

For me online is a quick and cheap way to kill some time.
Even if I lived across the street from a casino that had live poker you are still looking a a time investment.
Go there, possibly wait for a table, cash out chips in the end (hopefully) leave go home.
This AM I played for ~30 minutes in the shorts and t-shirt I slept in while having my AM coffee while having the local news on in the background.


Online also tends to have MUCH lower limits.
Many online poker places I play start at 100 SAT ante some are even 10 or 1 so we are taking mostly under $0.25 a hand for the most part just to kill some time. Not a bad deal.

As with most gambling YMMV but for me although I do love playing in a live casino, there are advantages to online.

Most of the time that’s the reason but the truth is gambling in casino is not that expensive because you can choose small amount of bettings but ofcourse people don’t usually knew that as they are featuring casinos as place for rich people only,but for me the reason is the long time to waste since I have a busy days so I rather choose in house than in live

Playing online poker will give advantage to people because they don't have to visit the poker casino, especially if, in his country, gambling was prohibited. He can play poker games in his house, and he can stay in his room, and do anything he wants. You could actually play in a casino with a minimum capital, of course not in a high end casinos. Just some local casino around the corner near your city. We're not talking about a casino with a Las Vegas vibes here right?
Sometimes, I go and visit the casino near my office just to kill some time, play poker and if Im lucky I could multiply my money , with only $100 buy in.
Theres really a huge difference between playing online and live. One of the interesting thing about playing live is the constant communication with fellow gamblers to avoid yourself from being bored. Second is, the lively atmosphere, unlike playing online sitting in front of your computer with completely had a neutral emotions and reactions. Infact, there are still a lot of difference most specially if you have tried gambling from both online and live.

That’s why many of us stays at home or even in any place to play online as this is the cheapest and fastest place to gamble.and for gamblers it’s just the way they releases the eagerness to bet and it can be done easily thru mobile phones or iPads so that’s why many of us stays here than going to casinos

And besides why need to go to casino to play live when you can just go to local community that entertain gamblers to play with the in houses or some gambling places

For me is very easy and comfortable playing from home away from alcohol and smoke which is common in live casinos and it can disrupt your thinking.Although I don’t see my opponent faces when playing online I do a simple assessment test of how good my cards are and based on that I plan my move.For me is better online play.

You can actually tell the difference among the two if you do able to experience both of them.Yes, lively atmosphere is one of it and you wont really got bored when you are already on the table playing with other people.You can see their face reactions and emotions along the way when all are playing unlike if you do just stare up with your screen.
You can feel the essence of gambling when youve done it physically.

Sometimes im a little bit shy if you do have small capital on your hands when you do go into these kind of places.Lets accept that most people do play into these places are filthy rich ones.

I can't recall which casino it is, but I'm sure there were allegations and accusations thrown before. So I guess this is really one disadvantage of playing online poker.

Live casino no doubt about that. It has this kind of unique charm that makes it more enjoyable to play. When you see your opponent whenever the situation or tense or when it's kind of the climax moment, It just has a different charm than when playing online. If you want to earn while enjoying the moment, I'd recommend a live casino no matter what. Besides, some gamblers gamble for the fun or for the thrill of it, and I'd recommend live casinos to those types of gamblers. But if you wholeheartedly just want to earn some quick buck, it'd be either of the two since it doesn't really make a difference.

This is why we cant see lots of poker sites online due to this possible reason.People cant easily trust it up yet we wouldnt
know if they are truly provably fair or not.For people who do prefer online over offline just like above well its their own choice
since we do have our own choices and preference but when it comes to possible cheats then online do mostly had it but we cant
say that offline hasnt those issue too.They do still exist but on a very minimal possibilities.

I play it a little 10$ buy in tournament every week at a bar down the road. We all had this same discussion the other day. I was explaining how I can play in online tournaments and place in the money. But when I play there I always get beat. The tournament by my house is only around 10-18 people where I can play in an online tournament with 5 to 600 people  and usually place in the top 30. I believe people can read your poker face in person where as online you have no idea if you are playing a real person or bots. It also seems like people bluff alot more in online poker then in real life.

I prefer to just play online. My odds of winning are way better!

In online you can play even if you are in your house no one will care you how much will spend you in every odds. Instead of paying a fare when you go to the live casino just spend on it online and it is less costly and feel safe at home.

The advantages that I saw here is that you've been playing online casino, because it's more comfortable compared of going at live casinos. You're time is independent so you could choose any options, rather than being pressured by scheduled bets. You can do it even you're having busy times taking care of the house, and that's right being safe at home without taking so much time and being tempted to bet for more amount money is not likely to happen.
