Future of Altcoins ?

Low-volume coins will be removed from the market. New investors are not entering the market. A new story must be written for this. Bitcoin is no longer a legend. The price crashed from the very hills to the floor. We need a new thrill. Then the money will flow to alternative coins.

As the market becomes more saturated more users are turning towards the top two crypto coins and those who had already invested into other altcoins have starting shifting their funds towards Bitcoin and Ethereum as other altcoins have failed to capitalize the market. If this continues then how will altcoin survive? is it just the matter of time or something which altcoins need to work on by working on the missing link.

By default most have to die off.  They literally offer nothing more than what is currently out there.  I do think niche coins will exist it's just the amount of coins that has come out in the last couple of years is not sustainable or needed.  There is definately space for more than just bitcoin just not all of them, nor do most of those coin developers have any intention on them succeeding

I believe altcoins are still promising. Yes the majority tend to stick with the strong ones and this is just normal. People need assurance since we are talking about finance. But once the strong ones began soaring again, the altcoin with low value but has strong support will be the people's alternative. Only shitcoins made the whole system questionable. Once they are eradicated, Altcoin will shine again.

So far, fundamentally nothing has changed in relation to altcoins. Thus, the future of altcoins seems to me uncertain.

Its really hard for the altcoins to survive this bear market due to the fact that most altcoins don't have usecases and they will die or become shitcoin in this situation. But there are still good altcoins that have a good future we just need to find them in the market. Good altcoins with good usecases and have a hardworking team that will continue to develop.

Altcoins' trust rate really dropped down compared to the previous years. Investors focused only with top coins due to losses because of holding altcoins and bad experiences because of scam projects. I don't think altcoins especially new coins could go more. Investors are switching to Bitcoin and Ethereum that's why most ICOs and IEOs fail. However, there are still a few numbers of risk-takers of investors who invest with altcoins. I just hope that at least some of altcoins these days would survive.

while most of your lines are truth yet there are many lower ranked currency that has a good potential.remember in bullrun almost all of the legit currency are moving up{sometimes even shitcoins being pumped as well} investors now are staying observant and you will find it while checking capitalization .now we are at 200 billion level when in july/august we are doubled so waiting is the key

I guess most investors just pick a short term investment when they are interest to invest in altcoin. Even I just doubt the new project/altcoin will have long live in the market. Could you thinking, the amount of altcoin is really much at least there is three thausand on coinmarketcap and the question is does investor will keep their money just on one altcoin?

More than that, the price of altcoin is really not stable, as you may see when there is an altcoin who increasing a lot the when you get back and see it prices again the price just slump down. You may be right because as I noticed everytime when Bitcoin starts to go bullish or bearish, the rest of the altcoins are following on what's the trend of Bitcoin. Although, we can't expect that all of the altcoins will follow because most of the top coins are merely going to react to it. It might be hard to invest in some altcoins but with this dip i think it's best to accumulate some while investing more Bitcoin.

Development is a must, if there's no development for Ethereum and continuous upgrade to make transactions better for bitcoin, everyone would be looking for a better coin for transfers and transactions. But as much as they're already established, maintaining it is the other key for it to progress. That seems to have a huge market play. I supposed to think that Vitalik will do something new and another strategical marketing design to help in uplifting its price. There is a strong market competition around and I know project owners has started to settle it down before bringing them in the bottom line. This market is determined by Bitcoin because this coin has a great influence and every fluctuation of this coin brings a lot of risks to investors. I think the market is still not stable at this time because the downtrend still has a higher advantage and there will be a lot of other adjustments that will happen in the near future. If you want to invest to make a high profit, you should choose the right time to invest.

I am sure Bitcoin prices will rise in the future but we will have to wait at least 3 to 5 years until the bear market officially ends.

There aren't yet altcoin that stands on its own that we use regularly except ETH which we use as gas for tokens we send. But all of them still relies to BTC price even that LTC. Though all of these altcoins has its own community, not all are being accepted in businesses like merchants accepting it as cash in exchange of the products. Until there is no altcoin that is used for buying products and services, they all will correlate to BTC which you can conclude the rise of BTC and ETH is also the rise of altcoins that depends to it.

Bitcoin still a legend, and it will still be the leader in the cryptocurrency. But the altcoin will change, and the competition of the altcoin has already started. We will see a new position in the market because the low volume of coins will be replaced with a strong altcoin. It could be the new coin or even the old coin that will get a better position at the market. The future of altcoin will be still bright in the future, but we cannot depend on one altcoin only because many good altcoins are trying to increase.

I think in the next week or month or so we might finally get the "alt season" rally everybody is expecting. Why?

Load up the ETHBTC chart, its basically going up against major resistance right now. There is major resistance between the ~0.02238 all the way up to ~0.02467.

The 0.02467 is very significant because it provided great support on the weekly chart going all the way back to Dec 2017, and this area actually held during Sept, Dec 2018 and May 2019 dip.

The 0.02238 is significant because its resistance on the daily chart, look at the way it rejected this price back in July and August and beliefly visited it back in Sept 2019. It looks like it might break, and then 0.02467 should break.

Then I expect the BTC dominance to dip down again and some alts like ETH might recover.

when altcoin has lost trading volume and has no updates in the short term. then I say it is a failure and become a scam. because every day a new altcoin is born. while the old altcoin is very difficult to survive. it's not like a few years ago. when altcoin is able to last for a long time. the only option to stay in trade is to move on coins that have the top 10 trading volume. so that it can continue trading when the market is saturated. altcoin is currently no longer a good investment. most are pumping, dumping, and leaving.

This market is in the purification stage and any coins that cannot grow well will be removed from this market. I think this is necessary in the bear market because we are going to eliminate a lot of shitcoin and make the market more stable in the next few years. Now is not a good time for people to invest but the market will surely return to an uptrend someday.

I am not sure what will happen next but if you have great faith and patience then you will make a good profit from this market.

That's the Ethereum 2.0 / PoW to PoS that he'll do the make it lively again. We want that development that will stay for a long time because if it's just a temporary solution to scaling, it won't do.
Many will start to discuss it again and look for something else that's better than the usual.

Actually I do prefer on having on this way rather than on a market that had been flooding out by alts.We don't need hundreds or thousand of it yet as we can see that

most of them doesn't offer something new or just simply copying each others projects without any usage at all or simply say they are just total crap.Why we would mind too much if these alts would go zero? 3-5 Crpytos is already enough.
