Do you think Voodoo works in Gambling Games?

I have always heard of people who win games with voodoo(charms/certain spiritual power).I know Voodoo is everywhere. They are said to use it to get accuracy in their predictions, permutation, casinos, throwing of dice etc while this will help to reduce to the bearest minimum their risks of loosing.
So, Do you also think this is true?

I've also heard about this and it's always talked about by gamblers. I would assume that is not true, this is very difficult to prove by logic. if anyone really believes in it I don't mind it because things like this depend on how people respond to it. but if there are people who prove it before my own eyes maybe I will believe in it, this will be difficult to prove.

@TIDOVEE there’s no doubt that we gamblers are superstitious, but till date I have never met any gambler who’s confessed to me that he’s using voodoo to win in gambling. However I won’t completely deny that such practices don’t take place, because when it comes to gamblers who badly wants to win money anything is possible.

C'mon mate! Don't tell me you still got superstitious beliefs. We're now living in the modern days, depending on those things can give you lesser to no chance of winning compare on making strategic moves, take note, with scientific basis. IMO I don't believe on such rituals or whatsoever, yeah there's a thing called luck but I think it doesn't fall under this category since it was a natural phenomenon .

Thats a really funny thing, even in sports they also have this pre game rituals lol.
I think they are just doing that "voodoo" thing just to make themselves feel better and boost their confidence in betting. Nevertheless, it doesnt have any effect such as accuracy in winning.
I too have experienced It while I was placing a bet in a roulette. I kissed the Chip and said "please multiply, youre the last of your kind" lol.

Believe and not believe, because some of them is win and some are not. Usually in my country people look for number to lottery in graveyard or maybe go to shaman. But one thing that always on my mind is, if the shaman really can guess the number, why he not buy it for himself to be rich.

LMFAO! This is not true. In my years of gambling, I have not known a single person who became rich because of it. Many of the people I know and I've shared company with in cockfighting are following very detailed and complicated superstitions believing that they give them certain powers and edge over their opponent. Some have amulets for gambling luck, some have little rituals and other weird superstitions. At the end day, all these do not guarantee them wins. We sometimes go home with nothing.

no absolutely  not true.those voodoo users that happens to win consecutively believes its about the practice but the truth is that is just Luck and not the spiritual powers or charm

Superstition obviously, if voodoo works on gambling then there must be many people are getting rich already. No doubt, there are still many traditional believe with voodoo. At least in my area, there are still many people trying to get in touch with something spiritual power to get a prediction of lottery numbers but what's the fact? It does not work, if there are some people win lottery just after they get in touch with voodoo then it must be just a coincidence. This experience and story from others makes people still believe with something spiritual power.

It's only a matter of belief. As for me, I don't belive in it. A voodoo that brings luck when gambling? Actually the luck itself is also a matter of belief. I do believe in luck but not with voodoo. This is the first time I've about this. Lucky charm is possible but voodoo? It sounds so scary.

If a person is lucky, then he's lucky. If it's in his fate to win, then it's in his fate.  I don't believe voodoo has the luck when gambling. Rather your strategy, analytical, mathematical skills and some luck.

There is superstitious beliefs around the world. When we talk about gambling, this can be seen with real casinos and I don't know how it works online. Maybe while spending online user might be wearing the lucky dress or some specific color dress on that particular day. In real casinos people won't leave their chairs to anyone else, they just try to continue on the same chair. This is pure luck, but some believe in this way that superstition works.

Welcome to gambling mentality, where you try every lucky charm you could get and pray every moment to get the most in gambling. I'd rather be faced with reality than believe in luck to be fair. Believing in luck makes gambling harder to stop since it makes me believe that I could get lucky again even if I just lost, which just makes my current balance dwindle down.

But I think that will happen too in reality as we don't know who was used and who was not used. But if someone has used voodoo or spells, and he can win so much money, I guess the owner will suspicious, and they will check on that person. They don't want to see they are losing much money from that person, and they will make sure that the person is not using voodoo.

And how does voodoo differ from superstitions? They are basically the same, or perhaps voodoo is categorized under superstition. Voodoo and superstitions are beliefs that are devoid of any scientific proof and empirical evidence. Having said that, there is really no connection between that belief and the roll of a dice or a toss of a coin.

If after wearing black on a friday, and you only gambled at 3 PM up to 4 PM, and you did not take a bath on that day, and you wore pink socks, and then you win, those things I have mentioned have nothing to do with it.
