I realize I am actually an idiot but I didn't check how dangerous it really is before doing it. Anyway all those services seemed legit.

I sent passport id photo for kyc on skrill and paxful, and also bitcoin exchanger in estonia(EU). I picked the last one on popular site bestchange.com, it is working for 1.5 year...

Do you think I have to change passport or this is just a panic? I am thinking about this all for several days...

You've already submitted a photo of your passport hence they already have your personal information anyway. Not sure how "changing" passports would help.

Anyway, submitting KYC information isn't necessarily 100% bad. Sometimes, it's really just necessary for you to submit KYC information to be able to use a certain service. Just make sure that you don't randomly submit your KYC information on every website that asks for it,and  make sure that the service your using is actually legitimate(do you due diligence) and is not some shady company from the Bahamas or something.

In my opinion, it's better to avoid sending such sensitive info on Internet, unless you don't have choice and company have good reputation.
Skrill is good and stable company, with good reputation but I'm not sure about paxful or exchanger in Estonia.
Please check their reputation, review their info and if everything ok you don't need to change your passport.

Skrill and Paxful are legit companies and your info would be probably safe. There are really no alternative to payment processor like Skrill so there's no other options than providing them with your KYC so is paxful for some countries. But I'm not sure about the exchanger you mentioned. Exchanger asks KYC when you are exchanging large amount in or from fiat and not necessarily with a mal-intention but I'd still try my best not to provide my KYC as much as possible.

Anyway, Skrill and Paxful are fairly trusted sites, and it's not that big of an issue, of course, there's the argument that the 2 big companies could get hacked or the argument that you should never verify your passport anywhere, but they are 2 really useful services and it's not much of an issue. Unfortunately, you do need to do KYC in some aspects of life, and this is a good example.

I do a lot of trading on Paxful and they have all my information over there and I really don't think it's a bad thing since the company is very legit and I don't think no one is going to steal my identity there is absolutely nothing that they can use it for.

I think you don't have to afraid because skrill and paxfull is a good website. But I don't know with bestchange.com. I guess that exchanger in Estonia is your local exchanger, right? Then you don't have to worry too. As long as you can find the legit site, there is nothing to worry.

But still, be careful to do KYC because not all website can be a good site. We don't know if the site can operate for a long time or not.

Yah that is good companies, I think Op make sure nextime once they upload or submit his KYC to one website in the future better for him to review the website or any project so they did not have any doubt after he submitted his KYC it is friendly reminders for everyone once you submit your personal information to them  they know your information and you do not know what they possible they do with that.

There's nothing you can do since they already have what they want to get from you, your information. All you can just do is just to avoid future things like this and stop doing KYC for online stuff, go find something that offers you the same service without needing your information and legit site too of course.

I guess you should do some background check before submitting any important documents on websites. There are many cases of information robbery and hijacking and so we must be careful especially on websites that are not trustworthy. We do not know what they are going to do with our personal information and thus if you are going to send again be careful and think twice before doing it. Since you already sent your passport then just pray that it will not be used by them.

Uhm. A lot? Your passport ID contains your full name, date of birth, address, etc. If you submitted your KYC information on a fraudulent website, they could potentially use your ID to sign up on exchanges and other sites using your identity. Which is definitely a very very big deal. And that's just the tip of the iceberg.

Estonian exchanger was issued financial licenses for financial operations with digital currencies, though. I checked it via site about company registrations info in the country.

Bro haha you just removed the idea of annonymity with what you did right there. I'd ask of you to edit your information temporarily in your social media accounts and not post anything about your travels and whatnot for now. Just to be on the safe side. Also try not to send your idphoto in any type of exchange site, ever. Again. Not unless it's a trusted and official one where you can guarantee the safety of your private information.

In our local exchanges here in our country, everyone should send their KYC to be able to withdraw from their wallets. It's been 2 years since I've done that. until now nothing has happened to me after I submit my KYC to them. When you send it to them there are rules that they will not give your information nor spread it to the internet this is the rules and regulations they have. you should read their rules and regulations about their KYC submission before you send them your personal info.

We've submitted our documents too so some exchanges like binance. I did submit mine not just in binance but also to gate.io. You're not the only who feels unsafe now, if that makes you comfortable.  There might just be some other smaller exchange that you would be going into incase you are going to dump some other coins you have that is only listed to that exchange. One thing is for sure, we're doomed.

I also have submitted some of my ID's and passport ID photo in the projects that i have participated with because they also required KYC, which i assume that they will not use my identity for illegal. Honestly, you are not the only one who are afraid and feel unsafe because there are also a lot of people who also submitted their information to a lot of exchanges and projects, that is why we should be more careful on the projects or exchanges that we participated with.

Honestly, you are not the only one who are afraid and feel unsafe because there are also a lot of people who also submitted their information to a lot of exchanges and projects.

Since you said you submitted it to a project you participating already. Just pray that they will not do  anything illegal from it since it up to them now what will be the use of your  id for them.
Next time be careful with your document before giving it to other people you really  dont know. You can use other id for verification not passport thats very dangerous.

If you have sent your information in a legit company then you have nothing to worry about. It's just necessary for those company to ask for KYC for security purposes. If you're doubting then you better do legit checking first before passing the KYC. EU, skrill and paxful provide legit services for such a long time. They will surely protect your identity. I have also sent my personal information in some of exchanges that requires KYC but I'm confident that my information is safe with them.
