A guy called 'Fredrick Hansen' approached me on telegram to talk about investments and sent me a referral link to a 'bitfury' site. After speaking he showed me a $425 withdrawal in BTC, I asked for the TX to verify but nothing. It smelt funny from the start and well, he clearly is a scammer and the site is a scam site - please do not use.

Site is only 9 days old at posting

Returns are ridiculous

Old School Scam
I think it's better to use this format, It makes things easier.Scam Report Format (Use it to make scam reports properly)
You can screenshot the conversation with him.

Did you mean that you created an account, found $425 and tried to withdraw it ?. Or he sent you a fake payment to market for free.
Generally do not trust the words of unknown people sending you, especially in Telegram.

Thanks for bumping this. I was also contacted by someone named "James Tyson" from Norway and he also was trying to persuade me to invest in bitfuryinvest.org saying he had invested in it and is getting good returns.

He also shared one screenshot (where he had confirmation email of plan from bitfuryinvest.org) and other of a dashboard from bitfuryinvest.net . So I am sure bitfuryinvest.net is another scam site for sure.

I think bitfury atm should send out warnings of a scammer using their names in such a manner.

The address search got me to these other websites, pure clones:
https://assetplusinvestment.com/
https://bitfurytrade.com/

It's even worse, they are using their logo and their actual name on their fake Instagram and telegram profiles:

Hmm seems worse  Embarrassed .Newbies might fall for this thinking something coming from a legit company- Bitfury.

I suggest warning bitfury atleast about it and asking them to send out warnings through media channels and adding a pop-up warning about such.
