Crowded Casinos - Play or not?

My first time to travel abroad and my destination was in Macau, a great city to gamble.  
Well, my first impression is that, they have the best architecture and great casinos, the "Studio City, Grand Lisboa, Parisian and the Venetian" to name a few was a great place to have fun and relax.

But honestly, I was shock seeing a crowded casinos which literally make me think to play or not considering I go there during weekdays at the morning.
Venetian is the most crowded casinos I've ever been, maybe because of their tourist spot and shopping store but the crowd is same on the inside of the casino.

I don't have much time to gamble, and I'm thinking if those gamblers is really there to have fun or to earn money after all?
I can't just imagine to have fun at the huge crowd, and so many people around you at the poker table.

Is it worth to play? or the crowd and the noise around you will just add to your stress?
Will you play on a crowded casinos? or just play online?

(VIP's might have the separate room and a more solemn room, I don't know but let's talk about the general here. )

Crowd and noise make me a little uncomfortable lol.
This reminds me of sports betting centers where I live, though most are not as nice as this one. They get filled up to the brim, with people queuing to bet on mostly international matches.
I sometimes wonder why they don't use online sports betting instead of the physical ones. Guess they just prefer the physical ones in order to socialize or they don't feel comfortable with online ones. Or they don't know how to bet online?

The point is to play with comfort for yourself, if you feel comfortable with the crowd then playing in the crowd is not a problem if you can enjoy the game without coercion or influence from anyone, because not all players can play in a crowded place. A crowded casino not only means you have to be careful of thieves and pickpockets but also lose your anonymity as a high roller. Although the casinos out there provide private rooms for their big whales but still you will be targeted by people if you are not taking precautions.

The online casinos levy these problems being anonymous at least to the fellow people at that casino and keeping you safe from pickpockets. Although beggars are there in every chatroom there are are measures to keep them away.

Online casino are the niche of the crypto economy but physical casinos still exist and they have a cult following so that wont stop.

Exactly, and that's the reason I feel like public casinos should all just become online in this age where everything is becoming digital. But you should be careful and one cannot be less cautious when it comes to money. I wont suggest you to keep bodyguards so you can gamble, but you have online casinos why look somewhere else?

Why don't you try online gambling platforms? You can have the convenience you want when playing inside of your house with you alone through online betting sites. Though, playing in a crowded casino produce a feeling of excitement when it is your turn to play, at the same time will induce some sort of fear to you because of other people watching if you will win or lose. If you don't like that scheme then go and pursue online betting.

This can depend on the situation once you are already inside. So you can't decide anymore if you are already on the seat and you're starting to play and you have no choice at all.
I guess you should just play until the end and get out of it if you really feel uncomfortable which is what I'll do the same. That's a bad experience and can give you an idea on what can happen next if you go back, well anyway we have a choice these days which is very convenient.

Lmao I felt the same way. It's probably either because of their ignorance or might be that the picture was taken lots of days ago when online gambling didn't exist or their government has blocked gambling sites or internet altogether. Or they are just extreme extroverts who think they can draw luck from people around lmao.

Well, many people like crowd just like some of us are comfortable with less crowds. It is more like a social gathering and could be beneficial to people.
Besides, young people are more familiar with online gambling than the old. I won't be surprised if they prefer the physical casinos to the online ones for social reasons,  they don't like online casinos or are not familiar with them.

There's a lot of people, want to gamble too because of the different reasons some of them want to play and spend their whole leisure time playing, and few of them are playing because of a higher chance of profit that possibly they can get. In a gambling place like the casino, it's always crowded because too many gamblers went to make fun. If you want to try gambling better on working days or go earlier, so you have a chance to play.

If someone target us after or while betting in a quiet casino then we have chances to notice them so we can save ourselves from getting into any trouble but if same thing happens in a casino which is mentioned by OP we have no chance to notice anything.

I think the there is no problem about that as long as you can play then do it even it means playing in a crowded. Also most of the time casino is always have a lot players and its rarely to casino to have few player, so I think there's no reason to not play just mind your own. Keep playimg and dont mind them and no need to worry if the casino is to crowded as long as you can focus then continue but if your not comfortable to play then find another casino.

Realistically, if a casino isn't crowded, then they're doing something wrong.

This could either mean they're not in a popular location, or they don't play fair.

Also, it could mean that their house edge is too high.

Likewise, having too few punters could force the casino to drive its house edge up, thereby making it less desirable to play at.

I'd avoid a place that isn't crowded tbh.
