Bitcoin holding will be worth this year or in the long run?

I wonder  if they had the control over the price, they can make a bearish run or even they can wake the bull up? Well for sure there is only one thing to expect it is having a good price in the future. What is your thought if the 10 billion worth of bitcoin will move?

Is that surprising? I mean, of course exchanges held a big amount of bitcoins in their wallet but most of their bitcoins is also from the traders that trading on that exchange. In my opinion, they can't control the price of bitcoin but a big group of whale can. About the question, no way 10 billions worth of bitcoin move in the same time, so it will never happen.

For me now, there is still no sign of a market reversal so we should expect that the bear market will still occur. The market has a life cycle so it is a reality that the bull will come but it will take more years so let's be patient.

I think the price of bitcoin still has the potential to go down again before halving occurs. But many predictions of the price of bitcoin at the end of each year will increase, although it is uncertain, but almost every year long-term investment is always profitable.
In my opinion, bitcoin is worth saving or investing in the long run, because every year bitcoin will increase its price. 2021 may be the next peak of ascension, let's look forward to it.

you have created this thread in 4th quarter of the year?isn't it late to asked since we are on the last part?i am thinking this same question in 1st quarter when the prices are continuously falling while my holdings are always in Blood marks but what i did is forget for a while and prevent my self checking the market(but of course i have news reading some threads here)

and finally 2nd quarter comes and bring good indication of bull coming and until the early 3rd quarter

so my answer?yes holding bitcoin is still profitable if we can afford to wait till next year

10 Billion worth of bitcoin is enough to boost the market,
That's why I see this as a good time to buy more bitcoins, because I am sure that in the coming years we will see the price of bitcoin rise rapidly and nothing can stop it. Bitcoin is sure to be heard on mainstream television and rumors abound that bitcoin is a pyramiding scheme.

my choice for now is to hold it for the long term and wait for the price of bitcoin to rise to the highest price, sell bitcoin at a low price or only make a small profit will not do any good, because I am very confident that bitcoin will reach the highest price at the right time even though it takes quite a long time and I will be patient to wait for it.

Isn't surprising to see people very optimistic towards bitcoin, though it was far from reality but they never get tired of it. They're patiently waiting for the moment that crypto will bounce back again and to see the horizon. We know it was along wait for everybody but it is worthy to do it.

It can be worth today,tomorrow or next year ,the truth is no one really knows.while many expecting the bullrun will happen from this December and will continue until the Halving in May 2020 yet who really knows?
But the advantage is ours now because we can buy crypto’s in lower prices while when the bulk stars surely Weill regret why not purchasing when the prices are still cheap and affordable

Actually we don't know when bitcoin will make a move since it is really vague some other says this October, some says before this year-end but one thing I can assure and that bitcoin is going to hit the $20K or more but soon. By the way, I like how you think, holding is a great choice and I do the same because this will give a high return if the uptrend comes. Another option is to purchase more bitcoin to hold and that will be worth it.

And we have to remember that bull runs don't happen only in the charts. OP asked if money held on exchange wallets can make the bull run happen. They can initiate it by breaking a level of resistance but people have to keep buying. There's not enough money on exchanges to start a bull run and follow through to double the price. Note that now we would have to more than double it to go to a new ATH and have one of those pumps Bitcoin is famous for.

No, and we can't be sure about that. I know we are so much excited and hungry to see the bull run again but ain't quite good to expect more for now.
Though the market is in a good position but yet, we can't guarantee that it will keep rising. This is year is not really a great year for crypto, maybe we could see it sooner but we can't tell when. If we have trust in bitcoin, years of waiting will it doesn't matter.

its not exciting when some exchanger or someone have full control about bitcoin. it mean they can earn a lot of money or bitcoin by their finger.

Bitcoin is good to hold in a long run because i know and i believe that bitcoin can reach the $20k. So if i give opportunities to have bitcoin i will hold it for long run for to get a good and big profits.

Obviously, i agree with you in that case because also i think BTC will be profitable when you will plan for the long term investment (maximum 2-3 years). In the last year big crashed in BTC but now it’s good stable and i hope it will gradually rise. I am tightly holding it from the previous year but still my i didn’t get my desired profits. But i believe in the next year BTC huge possibility to hits 20k$+. Short term investment is risky because it’s stable position from the last a couple of months.

To my opinion holding always refers to long term and by that I don't mean couple of months or a year but real long term period. Everything else would mean you want to get quick profit in short period of time and that is not for Bitcoin is best for as an investment.
But holding isn't for everyone because not every user has enough patience to hold long enough to get over price corrections and earn decent profit. For that it's important that you invest funds that you don't need and which you could just forget about for a longer period of time.

It is always risky to put your money in volatile currency like Bitcoin.It may increase your capital to many folds in a few months and the same time it can decrease your capital many folds. Think about the people who bought Bitcoin at $19K and even after 1.5 years they are at less than 50% of their capital.
