I think the ICO is over so there is no chance to participate and the fact that they raise billions, this should be coming from private investors, I am just assuming as I never heard this ICO last year. Since this is a big project, I am certain at the right time, it will be listed in the top 10 exchanges in the market, of course we can expect that Binance that will add this coin.

They haven't announce yet when it will be traded and I think they are just looking for the right timing, right now if they allow it to get traded, the price might be affected by the bad market situation.

I don't think Grams is a very good token. It is just created by Telegram to get some hype and earn some money. We all know Libra is coming next year. Telegram just want to be in that race with Facebook. I think you should better go for some big currency which has a lot of potential to grow.

If TON copied from anyone then from ETH and generally blockchain idea which is not a bad thing.

But I do believe that it is too speculative right now. The project will be very interesting though for long term investment once investors have cashed in (within 18 months).

Yep... This paragraph of the rules has always existed, from the very beginning of the Telegram.
And it is very strange that they applied the same rule to wallets and the TON blockchain network.
It somehow does not fit well with the concepts of decentralization, do not you think?

They cannot block your address, they state multiple times within those very t.o.s. that they have no control over TON Network. It even goes that far that they refuse to operate any validator nodes, so that no one can blame them for "operating the net". What they can do is block your login to Telegram Messenger and / or Wallet software that is integrated into Telegram Messenger. No one can wipe your wallet on blockchain and your private key is local on your machine (hopefully)! You will always have access to your Grams from 3rd party software as long as you have your private key.

So it's centralized. That is weird for cryptocurrency where we mainly decentralized.
Maybe they will ask for personal data in the future.
But i really like Telegram, that is can upload high res image and can make private chat.

You can find such terms and conditions in many services, they wish to secure themselves from big scandals in future, I think. TON External Secure ID or Telegram Passport is some kind of compromisse with the regulators. Otherwise it is impossible to make a crypto which would be implemented in wide financial areas. Almost every exchange can ask you for KYC today, so I see no reason to be surprised.

That's really a good point, 50M users can kickstart an adoption that is more than enough to make a trend if all are willing to tweet updates and repost in social media sites. I'm still going to wait what could happen when its ready n the market. Many projects in the past had disappointed me already when the hype if over.

I would have had lots of expectation for it, but gram is a coin that is overhyped and I already see it as a whales coin because I think that the supply is just limited to 2 million which is so little for the whales to easily accumulate, it would just take some few whales to accumulate it, while the few ordinary person that would buy it later and pump it will be the ones to actually suffer it when the coin is being dumped on them, considering the cost of the telegram itself and I think it is too cheap at that $3.3 dollar and considering the hype of the coin.

The technology that the gram token is really proposing, the initial coin offering should have been more than that so that it can even limit the amount that these whales can purchase at a goal. That is why main concern about the gram token and nothing else, for the tech, it is worth it.

I did not see this in person but I heard from reliable sources that it will be BTC only at launch. So adaptation would be less then impressive in the beginning (no one except geeks and traders hold BTC).

I have my doubts with Telegram like I had with Slack in 2015 when all the projects were here and on slack and now look at them , all migrated to Telegram and from Telegram it seems they slowly migrate to Discord so whats next ? Buying GRAMS involves a big financial risk in my opinion as you never know how Telegram would be , its like investing into Hi5 in 2009 and in 2010 Facebook had its boom worldwide ....hard to predict were the communities will be in 2020-2021.

Someone above wrote about centralization.
The structure of the messenger is centralized, by itself.
But the addresses in the TON blockchain will be like everywhere else - only the owner has access to the private key.
And even if for some reason your Telegram account is blocked, this will not affect the address. You can get there by private key through any compatible wallet.

There is  exchange selling GRAM token right now in the public mostly low volume exchange doing this.

GRAMS will be a good additions to crypto-market. Many news are speculating related to GRAMS. But we should wait for a bit and see its market trends before investing to it.
