Welcome to the forum. If you have some skills which you think will be valuable for the community, then you can offer up your service in the services section.

If you're planing to invest in any programs here and expecting to make some income from interest rates, then chances of you losing your coins is at 99.9999% + 1%  

If you're planing to launch an ICO or any investment schemes then its better to turn back now. It's already a circus from what i can see eventhough i haven't been here long.

Best to take your time and go through the forum and also the rest of the internet and you may find something interesting for your research. Asking about it here i think will only get you so far.

It looks like your question can't be answered directly because that's a big discussion to make, it encompasses several topics in other boards as well. Of course one pro is that there's no middle man here, you can open an account on any exchange and then start trading. One very important con to remember is that the market is very volatile, you can lose money very quick if the price goes down. Again, this is a big topic, I just give you some example. Best of luck on your research.

I don't know if your friend refer you to go to this forum for investing,bounty or job hunting since they actually have different figures to earn with since as of now the bounty campaigns are pretty much saturated with people who wants to earn money and also there are few or maybe shall we say less campaigns are paying and it's totally a waste of time if you go with this selection, and if you are into investments then do a proper research since we are flooded with ponzi schemes and scam ICO tokens/coins so be careful upon looking to invest with them. And also if you are good and have skills then maybe its pretty much good choice for you since you can earn with it but it's time consuming but I believe this one is worth to do rather than other things here.

All info that you probably need can be found on Google. Use whatever keywords that you want to find, and I bet the first page will give you enough info. Terms such as cryptocurrency investment, cryptocurrency pros, the disadvantage of cryptos, etc are enough.

Please be specific on what area you are referring into yet cryptocurrency is broad thing to discussed on and since you do mention about how to profit then it will depend on which you do pertain neither by investment,programming works,bounties etc. Lots of things to talk about but if you are really serious to find up things for your research then
have a time to read up things on this forum since there are lots of important info you can extract on here when it comes to bitcoin and other alts as well.

if you can create things like:

- mixer (but be very careful because on the day the government catche you, you can get arrested for god knows how many centuries)

- exchange

- casinos

- wallet (very crowded, but still has room for more innovation + lots of publicity you'll be successful)

- news site like coindesk.com and cointelegraph.com ( have a lot of nonsense news but they make money )

There's a couple ways I know you can generate income in the crypto space.

- Starting up your own crypto-based company.
- Joining a signature after you have reached a high rank (just check the services page for a couple).
- Doing bounty hunting.
- Crypto trading and investing.
- Offering your services to others (eg, designing, managment).

Seems, everything here needs momentum. You can't make much money without it.

Look back at 2017, when everything was hyped, people can easily make money from their investment, shit project owner can reach their fund goal easily. But then on 2018, crypto lost its momentum. People leave crypto, investors no longer investing. Shit projects still coming but got no enough funds.
