Help. Need info on ETH Tokens.

I want to buy into a project ICO, which offers lifetime payouts to my ETH  adress.
How is this happening? Will i recieve ETH to my adress that i gave to them ?
Does my ETH adress never change itself ?

We can't tell you exactly how it works because you didn't provide the name of the project but If you're referring to "dividends" then yes, that's possible If they are asking you to hold a certain amount of their token in your address in order to receive these payouts and if that's the case, then it doesn't matter where your funds are, you'll receive the payout wherever you're holding the token (ethereum smart contracts facilitate all that).

Lifetime payout? Look like your mention project very potential to be a scam or ponzi scheme. If they promise will send profits with ETH to your wallet, maybe for first 1 transaction, and they hope will get more investment from you. after that, they will never send ETH for you, and you are becoming a scam. Your ETH address is very unique, anyone wouldn't change your wallet. except team of that project modify your personal data from admin panel and edit your wallet section.

Very likely you are looking at a scam project. I would recommend you to not invest or buy their tokens. It is unlikely that any system can be developed that offering payouts for lifetime unless its a payment of worthless coins. In other words its a scam.

Many ways do the project owners try to lure people into investing into their project but disguise them in a legitimate manner. It would help if you provide us more information on the project.

BTW, is it a cloud mining scheme? Those are definite scams/confidence frauds.

You are a total newbie and don't know much about any kind of ICOs. If you have some kind of experience in any of them that's good news. But I think before investing in any projects you should research and make yourself competent and reliable. You should follow the OP suggested you already. In another way, you might get some more details from this community. Lots of threads are posted for the newbies which are welly written about ETH Tokens.

Dividends. Your payout will depend on how much tokens do you hold based on their given terms.

I'm not sure if they have a feature like that and don't want to search for it. I owned ROCK1 back then way back 2017 IIRC but I sold it through buyout since they moved to ROCK2. Try to ask that question on their Telegram group for clarification. But for me, don't be amazed by that dividend payout feature from any projects since it's not an easy passive income you are thinking. And lifetime payouts? I wonder how can they maintain it. Be careful as there are lots of negative reviews on that project.

Ok things change a bit here. IRM did not scam its token holders. But they are currently in a stasis about their location and have stopped mining but admins are looking for a new location.

ROCK2 token holders were getting paid in a ROCK2PAY token which contained ethereum in their contract. If you bought ROCK2 that ethereum address
where you hold ROCK2 would be getting the payout every month in the form of ROCK2PAY and there is a method to redeem ethereum from those tokens. Its very easy to do so and has been explained in the group.

Currently payouts are not happening because mining is stopped.

Be careful to not send your token to anyone. We have a lot of impersonators trying to scam others.

The admins are trying to resume mining. You should be able to get some better answers in their group.

At this point I would not suggest investing in them. Its your choice though.

So..  based on your description.. with this "ICO" of yours, you plan to pay them ETH, and you expect them to pay you back ETH? Are you high? I want some of whatever you're smoking lol.
