Yes, go to your security settings on the device and remove the passphrase. I have never heard that setting up a passphrase decreases the available space significantly. Did you try to install the same apps as before setting the second PIN? Accounts themselves definitely should not have any impact on the storage.

i can not install more than 2 app. btw both of pin accounts uses the same apps. i think attaching additional key and pin creates a new passphrase therefor memory decreased for that

btw there is no remove passphrase option on both accounts.

Which apps are you trying to install? I doubt setting up another PIN has anything to do with it. AFAIK, all the extra PIN and passphrase do is make the wallet generate different wallets, like using a different derivation path.

From Ledger's website:
Each different passphrase unlocks a unique set of accounts. You can use as many passphrases as you like.

AFAIK, all the extra PIN and passphrase do is make the wallet generate different wallets, like using a different derivation path.

The device needs to keep the passphrase if the user doesn't want to use a temporary one. Entering a passphrase would be tedious so users are able to use a PIN instead. You can only have one "permanent" passphrase at one time.

btw there is no remove passphrase option on both accounts.

What options do you have in the "Settings -> Security -> Passphrase" on the device?

Settings -> Security -> Passphrase > set temporary / attach to a pin options.

i installed neo and eth apps on it. and i can not install new one without uninstallation one of them. and i know there is no problem to uninstalling any app, i know i can re access if i install the app again. but i have another problem, i need to increase capasity by removing 2nd pinned account.

What if you just reset your Ledger by entering the wrong PIN 3 times and restore it again from your original seed? Wouldn't that "remove" the second account?

Keep in mind that Nano S capacity has decreased drastically because of the recent update. ETH and NEO are completely different so that's why you might not be able to install more apps. You can install more than 2 apps if they share some code with each other (e.g. Bitcoin forks).

Wouldn't that "remove" the second account?

It would as a last resort. Alternatively, OP can try selecting "Attach to a PIN" again and leaving everything blank.

yeah thats the point, i can not find my passphrases Smiley i have 2 ledger nano s device with same passphrases i cloned them before, 1 device on safebox i use another one on daily usage. but passphrase papper is on different place. a forgotten place  Grin
removing any account on my device is not a problem but resetting a big trouble for now

the best solution is searching passphrase papper and resetting the device

guys another question.. is that possible attached pinned 2nd account to set up as first account? 2nd pinned account have additional key as 25th keyword of passphrase, but i did not make it self usage. it has to be 2nd account right?

You can't use it as your main wallet. Ledger advertises it as a hidden wallet and so do the other hardware wallet manufactures. In case someone forced you to unlock your device, you can give the PIN code to the first wallet with little BTC on it.

I would be extremely careful with removing the passphrase protected account if you can't remember the passphrase. Your only back up then is your second Ledger device in the safe deposit box. Are you 100% sure that it has the correct passphrase on it, is in good working order, hasn't been stolen, etc? Even something as simple as the software on it being out of date becomes a big risk if you have no other back ups of your passphrase. If you can't remember the passphrase and can't find your back ups, then you should set up a new passphrase, back it up properly, and send your coins one of the new addresses.

I just tried on my Ledger Nano, which I use multiple passphrases on but always as a temporary passphrase and never as linked to a second PIN, and I was able to install Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Neo apps all at once. So it does seem that setting up a second PIN has decreased the storage available for on OP's device.

Yes. There is no way to set up a passphrase account as the primary account. You must first set up the primary account with the 24 word phrase it generates for you, and then specific your own passphrase for the 2nd (or 3rd, or 4th, etc.) account.
