It's all in the kernel log , you have a whole chain (1/3 of one of the hash board)

Code:
get RT hashrate from Chain[10]: (asic index start from 1-18)

Above, is what your kernel shows, below is how it should be

Code:
get RT hashrate from Chain[9]: (asic index start from 1-18)
Asic[01]=61.4710 Asic[02]=66.0680 Asic[03]=61.4880 Asic[04]=64.9440 Asic[05]=65.4810 Asic[06]=66.6050 Asic[07]=66.2360 Asic[08]=67.4100
Asic[09]=65.6320 Asic[10]=56.2700 Asic[11]=63.5350 Asic[12]=63.0150 Asic[13]=60.8170 Asic[14]=67.4770 Asic[15]=70.3800 Asic[16]=62.2600
Asic[17]=68.6350 Asic[18]=66.8400

According to bitmain's T9+ chain explanation > https://support.bitmain.com/hc/en-us/articles/360020728133-T9-s-Chain-numbers-and-Fan-numbers-on-miner-status

The board that is connected to J2 is the one that has a dead chain (most left if I am not mistaken, but you can simply see where the data cables is connected)

So what does all this mean in simple English ?

That hash board is dying, eventually the other two chains on that hash board will die too , this usually happens due to over-heat causes by overclocking or poor cooling , and in many cases it just happens for no reasons.

Sometimes changing the firmware will fix similar issues, be careful with replacing a bad T9+ firmware , many people reporting issues after doing so, do a bit of reading before you go ahead and flash a a new firmware.

Or simply unplug the dying board and run two boards. While annoying to lose hash,
 it is easy to do and often works well for the other good boards.

He does not really need to do that, the board won't work with missing chains anyway , whatever hashrate he is getting now, comes from the other 2 good boards , it's very unlikely that the 2 chains on that J2 will hash at all, i am not sure if this is firmware or hardware limitation, but that is what I learned from personal experience.

however,  leaving a half dead board on the miner could sometimes create some issues , the miner  may keep rebooting and attempting to find all 9 chains, I know some S9 firmware do that, not sure about T9+ , but it makes sense to simply get rid of that board, gave you a merit for that.

you can shut the gear off and pull the white info wire out along with the pci wires to the board on the left.

boot

wait for it to fire up and see if you guessed correctly  should take under 15 minutes to show the gui hashing.

if you guess correctly you are done if wrong shut it off. plug the white info wire back along with the pcie power wires.

try the board on the right  should take under 15 minutes to show the gui hashing.

Check this link below to help you identify which hashboard is dying or dead.

- https://support.bitmain.com/hc/en-us/articles/226142788-Test-hash-board-one-by-one

Just make sure to run it for 15 minutes as philipma1957 said and check the kernel logs and save it to notepad to compared them to other hashboard kernel logs.
