If we were asked who is Satoshi, it seems so easy to answer that question by just saying, he's the founder of bitcoin etc. No matter how much we give information about Satoshi, the question will still remain unanswered because at the end of the day, Satoshi is still unknown. What we say about Satoshi is what we only know about him but is also very limited.
Topics about Satoshi and his identity have been discussed here a lot of times. a lot of opinion and research were given yet we're still far from finding him. Finding Satoshi is not easy, a lot of people already tried but failed finding the real one. It's because Satoshi himself doesn't want to be found...

well, one thing is for sure regarding Satoshi and that will be that satoshi is somewhere  drinking coffee whiles thinking of ways to improve the nature and the blockchain network of Bitcoin.  I think people should waste their time worrying about finding who satoshi is. You will just worry your mind and also stress yourself for nothing. There have been a lot theories regarding who satoshi is but all that is not worth the time of people.

I think until now no one will know who satoshi nakamoto and no matter how hard you search then it will not be able to give results, you should know before you do a search that there is already doing a hard search but did not produce anything, and from this video it's sad if at the end of the video it says that bitcoin can collapse and I think that can happen when no one is interested in bitcoin anymore.

This topic was already been posted in this forum a few times already but it is still good for newbies.

Finding the real satoshi is a very hard task. Though the reason behind his hiding is unknown and though there are many theories of his disappearance it is all an unproven idea. There are  people who are lined up as candidates for Satoshi. The first was Dorian Nakamoto a Japanese Engineer whose name is closely similar to Satoshi Nakamoto but he denied the reports and he is not the bitcoin creator. We have Craig Wright who claimed that he is Satoshi and even presented documents of which some are fabricated and became a laughing stock here in this forum.  We have also Nick Szabo but in the end he is not Satoshi. Also in this forum there are many accounts before that tells people that they know Satoshi and some said they are satoshi itself, well those are bogus and we dont believe them.

You're right, ultimately the only way we'll find out who Satoshi really is, is if he outs himself and then proves to us that his identity is real. It's almost certainly none of those three, but it's always interesting to speculate on and discuss these things. As the "founding father" of the crypto asset industry, Satoshi's mystery identity befuddles so many

Some reasons for remaining hidden are obviously known. His life (or their life, if it's a group of people as some speculate) would be in danger.

Some are saying, none of the original coins have moved. Yes, the first million coins have not moved ever except for a few transactions. But do we know if Satoshi (the person or the group) actually stopped completely mining? Might he or they not have tried mining with GPUs when everyone else was starting to? That's another few thousand coins worth.

If he didn't need the money before, he certainly doesn't need it now, but at current prices anything saved up AFTER the first million mined ... however unlikely, it's possible he or they were able to continue either mining or even trading. Many others have. Those later coins and transactions would be completely under the radar.

Yes, it is likely that his (or their) life would be in danger. Speculation around the topic probably doesn't help that, but as the founder of the crypto asset industry, there will always be rumors about Satoshi's true identity (or identities). It's very likely that Satoshi is still somewhat involved, and maintains a vested interest in Bitcoin.

Finding Satoshi Nakamoto is like exploring the remaining unexplored depth of the ocean, imagine how hard that is. Satoshi will never hid himself or (themselves) if he really wanted go expose himself in the public as the bitcoin continue to rise above the ground, that would be like he's saying "Come on people kill me". We all know how sensitive the bitcoin network is, and maybe he hid himself because there is a way on how to turn Bitcoin network into a centralized one like fiat (what the Government wants)

People already look to Satoshi as a kind of authority figure, or leader, within the cryptoasset industry. Is it likely that he'll ever let his true identity be known? Nobody can really say, but one thing is for certain and that's the level of impact he (or they) has had on the industry.

Isn't it pretty obvious why he is hiding himself? You have billion worths of absolutely un accounted Income. Which will obviously appreciate in future. Knowing all this why would someone like to come in the eyes of law to first pay taxes on it then even if we ignore taxes why would someone risk their lives as he might be living a very normal tech freak life and suddenly he would need to carry 10 body guards so that nobody threatens him to disclose his private keys as in such cases he won't even be guarded by the law itself.

There are definitely clear reasons why he keeps his identity hidden, but ultimately we don't know his motives for certain. It could be taxes, or the threat on his physical safety, or any number of other reasons. However, this does remain an interesting topic of discussion within the cryptocurrency sphere.

This same talks about Satoshi Nakamoto has been on everyone's lips in the past years. Over this forums there are a dozens of threads pointing to the same question. Whatever Satoshi is, whether an individual or organisation, I think there anonymousity goes in line to prove the concept of Bitcoin. Finding Satoshi would be Very difficult if not impossible, it's been 10 years and still no success with that just mere guesses.

Absolutely, ultimately the only way to "find Satoshi" would be for him to out himself and then prove his identity. However, there's no real motivation for him to do that and for a variety of reasons. Still, speculating on this topic is something that will most likely occupy the crypto asset sphere for a long time.

The easy way to find him is to him for someone to claim that He is Satoshi, if he cannot prove it, then wait for another one. Finding Satoshi today is next to impossible. so the easiest way is to let them claim for themselves that they are Satoshi with enough proof. the only clue we know about Satoshi is he/their codename "Satoshi" after that the posts here in bitcoin talk bring us nowhere to him. only God knows where could he be, let's just stop making this kind of thread cause it'll stress you out along with the price of bitcoin today.

Do you think that the real Satoshi will ever come forward, and why would he? Ultimately, his motives for staying anonymous are likely security and tax purposes, and that's pretty much reason enough for keeping your identity a secret. If you're stressed about the price of Bitcoin, you should look into eToro - CFD trading could work for you.

Satoshi intended to be anonymous maybe for security reasons and he doesn't plan to expose himself. We don't even know if satoshi is just one person or could be a group of team hiding in a pseudo name. We should just thank him for what he had brought us, and just respect his decision to be anonymous despite how famous and useful his creation is.

You're right - the likelihood of him exposing his identity is slim. Yet speculation around it is always going to be rife. Many people want know who the creator of Bitcoin is precisely so that they know who to credit for its creation, but at the same time why would he take that risk?

A much more detailed information who Satoshi is compare to other post in this forum, only saying who they think the real Satoshi. Almost everything about Satoshi will just remain as a conspiracy unless he showed himself. Bet this will shock everyone if it happens. But actually, we don't even know if he's a single person, an organization, or a group of people. Don't waste time looking for Satoshi. Let's just wait if he'll reveal himself or not.

yes maybe it is true that satoshi nakomoto is hiding his identity because he is considering his own security so as not to be criticized by bitcoin users when the price of bitcoin goes down and so the government will definitely blame satoshi nakamoto if the government knows satoshi nakamoto real identity especially now bitcoin is fierce competition for fiat currencies .
