Which coins should i buy?

I have some altcoins from early 2017 and some BTC and ETH too. I am thinking about investing some more but don't really know what i should be looking into.

Below is my list of coins.

BTC, ETH, NEO, ADA, LSK, LTC, Stratis, Waves, ARK, SHIFT, Pivx, VTC, GRS, Powr, Tenx

When i bought in early 2017, Statis, Waves, Ark and ADA was popular, how are these coins today?

I am not interested in low market/very new coins.

Most coins drop in value after a while, so you might want to check the current price of each coin at DEX.

Its hard to do predictions now a day with so many coins out there, but the general rule is that you can "semi" trust coins that have active developers, and a  clear vision on how they plan to get consumers to use their coin.

Bitcoin should be the first choice. Other than that I would not invest in coins with big market cap already. Sentiment in investors changed already. They are not interested to invest without any product or invest in air. I would be very much interested in investing in coin/tokens which have real use cases and adopted by regular users or have the potential.

* WABI - Very much interest investing in wabi because around 49% of users who are using their services holding the token as well.
* NPXS - Can pay with crypto, Token Burn etc. I think day by day they will get more popularity among users.
* Airswap(AST) - No trading fees, No deposit. High liquidty & big names in advisor. I like their product but the price of their token is not good. But I think the price will follow i really love their decentralized exchange. I am not holding WABI & NPXS but AST.

Waves, stratis and ARK are not so popular right now and so many new coins have already taken the top 100 of CMC. You can try to take a look at grin coin which is really worth to invest and a crypto mobile payment system like crypterium.
Tenx is really bad coin right now because it has already kicked out from top 100 CMC and I have not gotten my card and I have been waiting for more than a year.
I thought that you should have erased some old coins from your list.

There's no way to know which coins are gonna take off, but if you look at the recent news, and trends, it's a good indicator on the future in regards to projects that MIGHT take off.

As we've seen, a TON of centralized exchanges has been hacked, exit scammed, etc.
We've also seen exchanges like IDEX enforcing KYC on it's users. Coinbase sharing users trading history with the IRS, and much more. There is no doubt that Decentralized Exchanges is gonna BOOM once people start to actually CARE about their privacy!
I'm accumulating BLOCK, since it's the first project who launched a REAL proper DEX, and compared to the rest of the DEX's on the market right now, it's WAY better. (By a long shot)

I want to start by stating that I am NOT a financial advisor so you should treat my post as such. In my opinion Bitcoin should be your biggest portfolio allocation as we all know that all altcoins are weak when BTC raises and over time you see what happened to altcoins - lower highs and lower lows. I think this trend will continue with altcoins. BUT, there are certain altcoins which showed impressive development efforts for example Stratis that could easily explode if they manage to land some high-end contracts with enterprises. As a matter of fact there is already an ICO that finished few days built on the Stratis platform that aims to change how people procure their drugs - Mediconnect. The other altcoin that I'm watching is ETH as it is the second most popular in the market and many entities build projects on it.

Considering our current market, the wisest choice that you can do in investing your money is by buying Bitcoin alone. We are in the time when everything could move upside down, and almost all of altcoins look like that right now. But if you think buying BTC alone is not sufficient then you can try to hold some ETH, because there might be some changes happen in the future with this coin. Other than those, I do not see any reason for you to buy them unless they are able to give something comparable to ETH 2.0. Do not take my opinion as financial advice, always do your own research.

My BTC and ETH portfolio is quite big so i am not investing in those two coins right now. I am looking for some more diversification. I will look into the Blocknet, that looks interesting.

What are your thoughts on Basic Attention token(BAT)? I have used the brave browser for a while now and it seems good. Cardano looks interesting too.

Everything in that list except BTC and ETH looks rather dead right now.  That's the problem with alts, they can't be held for more than a year or 2, they need to be sold when they appear to be peaking after good news or when they appear to be dying.

ETH and BTC are good to have in large quantities right now, especially ETH.  Some of the more promising alts that are being shilled a lot at the moment are LINK, NYZO, DAG, AGI, UOS, RLC, REN, QNT, RSR, MKR, ENG.  Do your own research on them and you might find some things you like.

   I can`t agree with you DegenData. NEO, ADA, LTC, Waves, Pivx are not dead, and they don`t seem like they are dead. Prices
are down, that is a fact, but this coins have a future, they are around for years and they survived even worst situations.
   About Link I`m seeing many good things, but others are unknown to me. I`m thinking to buy Link for some time and I will do that
for sure, I will check other coins you suggested too, maybe there is something good there.

Buy what you believe will b used 10 years form now and  Bitcoin will not implement. It is simple as that. If coin will not be used will be worth less then today. If Bitcoin will have same feature then Bitcoin will prevail and your coin will have 0.00001% market share.

Its kinda a shame you were not actively managing those coins, most had really nice pumps throughout and are now in the shits kinda again haha
if your ETH was cheap back then its not bad now, id hodl it tho, for after PoW ends
check out GRIN man, and RVN, two coins that imo should be around a while

BTC you can always invest on this coin but other alt coins are are not fine to invest in my point of view because most of the cryptocurrency has fall down when the time Bitcoin has dumped.
Maybe in the year of 2020 find some miracle and all the cryptocurrencies May fly to skyrocket.

those coins are still popular, they still exist among the top hundreds. they use to be on top 20, lisk, stratis and waves are the ones promoted more during their days but they were very slow in the developments. ADA and NEM survives on top but much had changed over the years and then the aggressive tokens are coming out like BNB, EOS and TRX. in the coming years, there could be another set that will replace these new ones, same concept different names.

And I think Cardano and litecoin become the best alts to buy now,,
if we compare with the other alts in your list above except ethereum my friend,,
Both still has a chance to growing hard when the altseason scome back

You have some good list of Alts but if you do plan to add up then i would suggest you this;

BTC- 70%
ETH-20%
LTC-10%

For sure these 3 will majorly move up when the entire market turns to shift upside down.
Well its your choice though if you do add up those other alts on your port but talking with
good chance of long term aspect then these are my choices.
