there are lots of good coins now but those that stay on the market and are stable are very rarely seen. BTC is very stable and strong right now, this is the only coin that I understand so far
Of course, everyone will say that because Bitcoin is always the first choice of many investors and the current price of Bitcoin is at very low prices so consider if you want to make long term profits. I have analyzed a lot and it is safe to say that in 2020 this coin will enter a new bull phase and may reach $18,000 again. However, this is just my small prediction and you should only consult because the crypto market has a lot of surprises happen.

I have some altcoins from early 2017 and some BTC and ETH too. I am thinking about investing some more but don't really know what i should be looking into.

Below is my list of coins.

BTC, ETH, NEO, ADA, LSK, LTC, Stratis, Waves, ARK, SHIFT, Pivx, VTC, GRS, Powr, Tenx

When i bought in early 2017, Statis, Waves, Ark and ADA was popular, how are these coins today?

I am not interested in low market/very new coins.

Thanks!
I would only suggest that you choose altcoin that really has good development potential so far, such as Bnb Eth and ltc, but if you have altcoin of your choice, of course it's better because any investment risk that you make is your responsibility itself, but before you invest you should first learn about the prospects for altcoin, because today there are many altcoins that are shit coin and don't have a good future so that you are not wrong in making decisions.

Basically what DU18 said, but it is important that the usecase is clearly achievable in less than five years. Usually usecases are badly needed by mainstream. It can't be a vanity project. Secondly, the dev team should be strong and community alive even with a bear market.

Yes, you are right, we should always choose the coins based on the developments and activity from the development team. There are many bullshit coins which most of the whales are pumping those coins without any active developments, so choose them wisely before purchasing them in the market.

I cannot say on which do you think to buy, If we look at the market now some of altcoins you mentions are drop the price so much.
So for me it depend on what step you gonna do, If you want to buy must better if not well its your decision not mind. And just try search also because their new altcoins arrive that have a potential to increase the price in a future.
Determining the right time to buy now is very difficult to be sure. It is true that you say that altcoin is currently experiencing a lot of decline and many are saving to see for the future. where there are expected to be very significant changes. It is not recommended to buy a new altcoin that is very difficult to predict, it is better to stay on an existing altcoin market.

someone gave a prediction on my telegram channel that altcoin will be good in 2020 before halving Bitcoin,
my advice is choose and buy coins that ROI has not gone up, for example WAVES or CRPT

Do your own research! Any advice from us here on forum, or any other place, anyone should take with a reserve! Never relay on other people choices, each of us have different perspective and different interests. I suggest people to buy bitcoin, if they don't know what else to buy! Investing in crypto is always risky, be aware of that, investing can be short or long term, there's a huge difference.
So before giving more advises where should someone invest we need to know how much money you have, how much money you wish to earn and in what time period. With more informations we can give better answers, but in the end its our perspective, even after you read what we wrote you should spend some time in verifying that.
Even if we have the best intentions when we give advice to other people because we want to help them to take the best decision possible for them at the same time this can be really difficult because each person has its own goals and different circumstances in their life that can make quite difficult to give good advice, in my case I do not really like to take huge risks and I'm willing to hold whatever investment that I make for years so for someone like me bitcoin is the perfect choice but the same is not true for everyone.

as a reference for you, there are some coins of my choice that have good opportunities to hold such as ethereum, neo, and litecoin. But all keep returning to your own choices, and don't forget to keep managing your risk.

Most coins in your list are good. You could drop some such as PIVX and Shift and add some top ranked coins such as XRP, EOS, XLM.

I think that now it is profitable to keep top coins in your wallet, not little-known projects, because top coins are now more predictable and safe

bitcoin is good enough to be invested in large amounts, and other small things can be used for altcoin investments. most importantly focus when holding and always make careful preparations before starting an investment

If you still have Btc and eth for now it still has a good sale value, even though the price is not like in 2017. and for Waves and Ark, I see that this coin don't have good prices anymore. maybe if you want, please exchange your coins for new coins that have more high selling points at the moment.

I recommend BTC, because halving will happen soon and surely BTC prices will rise
Because from previous history, every halving time BTC prices always increase
BTC will halving in May 2020

The price will likely increase one year after the hlaving like just the halving before in 2016, thr price boom in 2017 but i think the price booming is also affected from the ransomware virus that happened in 2017 that the hackers are asking for bitcoins to unlock people's computer. So i think before thr price boom cryptocurrency need a big event that can trigger it

People are kept predicting different coin in telegram group and it completely depends upon the coin we choose and before that, we should choose them wisely. Without researching the coin, it is not a good idea to be believed in other words.

Now that the market is still very low, this is a good time for us to invest in the cryptocurrency market. We can buy any altcoin in top 50 coinmarketcap. I think the wisest choice is Bitcoin and Ethereum, these are the best 2 cryptocurrencies. Besides, you can also buy Litecoin, EOS and Cardano and Monero. I believe these cryptocurrencies will be very profitable for us.

there are lots of good coins now but those that stay on the market and are stable are very rarely seen. BTC is very stable and strong right now, this is the only coin that I understand so far
try to open your eyes and start paying attention to altcoin. bitcoin may indeed have a strong market, but you need big capital to start playing with bitcoin trading or investing. Even though I own bitcoin, I prefer trading on the altcoin market rather than bitcoin. even the newly released coins in the market are also very interesting to trade, such as BCNX and BYX. but now I focus on BNB and LTC trading.

No, you don't need big capital to start investing or trading Bitcoin in any way. Sure, the profits won't be as large as if you had thousands of dollars to throw at it, but you'll still be able to make a little bit of money and learn a lot in the process. I'm tired of seeing people discouraging people from investing in Bitcoin or any other Altcoins because they don't have a tremendous amount of money. Only start with what you can afford to lose if you do lose. Even if it's only $10. The education you get from trying to trade it is well worth that.
This is one of the biggest advantages in this market and for some reason people do not want to take advantage of it, if you want to invest in the Forex market you need at least 1000 dollars to open an account in my country and there are many places in which the minimum that you need to deposit is 10,000 and as you may guess very few people have that kind of money to begin to invest in the Forex market, but in the market of cryptocurrencies as long as you have a few dollars that can be enough to start your journey.

its tax efficient
its working 24/7
you have control on your assets

thats why i believe that this market will succeed

Now its time to buy. Although not all. But some needs to be watched and stocked. DX token is one. Couple of others such as Atomic wallet Coin, SNTand MATIC.

Few reasons i recommend these thus:

Dxchain mainnet launch is around the corner. Besides, It has surpassed ICO price and project and team is good. https://dxchain.com]https://dxchain.com . its Top 100

Atomic wallet has very good use case. The wallet is one with high security. https://atomicwallet.io]https://atomicwallet.io . Coin is still cheap now.

SNT by Status network is top 100. Its use cases are superb with hardworking team. https://status.im

Matic is a Layer 2 scaling solution that uses sidechains for off-chain computation while ensuring asset security using the Plasma framework and a decentralized network of Proof-of-Stake (PoS) validators. it is top 100 and still rising. https://matic.network

All of the above are available on https://coinmarketcap.com

As much as  I understand cryptocurrency, Waves is one I wouldn't tell anyone to buy. Its a crawling token with unserious team.
