Recently i watched a debate on crypto between Professor and Economist Nouriel Roubini and BitMex CEO Arthur Mayes. What i have noted and learnt from there is that we need good and up to the mark persons to represent crypto.
Nouriel Roubini totally bashed Arther Mayes because he knew absolutely nothing related to crypto and he had clear cut answer to not a single question of Dr. Nouriel Roubini.
But on the other hand i also watched Tone Vays vs Nouriel Roubini which was a productive talk.
We need some knowledgeable people to represent crypto so the adaption of crypto can be increased in the future. If we continue to allow people like Arthur Mayes  to represent crypto i am afraid that crypto cannot find new people who can stay here.

The debate is a mismatch in my opinion, Arthur Hayes knowledge is limited compare to Ruobini a veteran economist. I think the most interesting match for a debate with Roubini is Andreas Antonopoulos, he really fit for the subject and perfect candidate whoever the opponent is. Worthy with his knowledge a true representative of crypto community.

Could the OP provide us link on that debate if available?

If its indeed true on what OP had observed on that debate, then it feels like fielding an inexperienced and weaponless soldier into a war where the enemies are veterans and have adequate firepower to demolish on those who will stand on their way! I guess we all know what will be the outcome with that kind of scenario! Grin

I think it might be better if the crypto-community would pre select our own crypto ambassador(s), who have adequate knowledge in all things related to cryptocurrency and blockchain technology and its benefits in economics, finance and other related industries that might benefit from it - to represent us with those kinds of events and face these naysayers defeat them in a convincing matter! Imho.
