The rest pictures are pretty clear and show that there is no laser rings on the hologram.

The 10 LTC coin has no bump on the back and is not an error.

At first smoothie laser engraved the holograms for security purpose but stopped later because it was too much work

2013 Casascius Silvers also have a laser ring on the edge of the hologram.  The purpose was to make it even more difficult to tamper with the hologram unnoticed.
