I used to be a bounty hunter and I refused to give KYC only for a little bonus like this. It is a natural thing if they are concerned about KYC because most gamblers want to play anonymously and do not want to give KYC if it is not so important.

Another way to cheaply acquire people's identity in the name of trading, $10 is a small amount that would warrant giving out one's identity while those new sign ups who aspire to register multiple time wouldn't pass second level of KYC verification thus screened out except if they had in their possession stolen identities so as to beat the system and have multiples sign-ups to more $10s.

Maybe many do not know that KYC are sold in the dark web and  anyone will risk his identity or rather sold himself for 10$ only.  Also they may take your kyc and never give you 10$.
