Craig Wright, the one that is "the closest" to being Satoshi as said in the article is nothing more than a fraud who tried to get free massive exposure for himself in the media. The true Satoshi Nakamoto is probably a very smart person, who is not after fame or money or anything like that, but his goals are to change the world for the better on a fundamental level.

Point well made, I don't really understand why he claim himself as Satoshi but he can't even give enough proofs and evidences, he keeps on deceiving people and making us fool. Satoshi hide his/their real identity because of a specific reason and we have to accept it,these days we can't avoid people who wanted the attention and the benefits of being fame keeps on fooling people and convincing them for something that isn't true like him. Some of you are curious and confuse but you are not the only one,we all are and besides no one can easily identify which of those people is the legit one particularly nowadays and not all the information you read about Satoshi is true because no of us can tell unless he reveal himself/themselves and show documents or proofs.

CSW isn't the genius behind Bitcoin, but he certainly is a genius when it comes to manipulating the sentiment within the crypto community to such degree, that news outlets love to write about him and donate him popularity.

If news outlets weren't money hungry sluts and didn't donate him exposure through their countless shit articles, CSW wouldn't be as "popular" or widely known as he is today.... news outlets made him grow out to where he is today.

In a sense even this thread contributes to CSW getting more widely known.

Well, we could not stop them claiming itself that they are the real creator of Bitcoin. There are a lot of people trying to claim the are real creator but everyone did not sign a message of the previous wallet address of the real Satoshi. Indeed, we know what all they want, just to have exposure to their name. Stop chasing the real founder, it doesn't help the price growth in the market, besides, let's enjoy what the real Nakamoto gave onto us.

We don't know who the real Satoshi is, but what we know is that Satoshi and his creation pave the way for a great adoption of cryptocurrency. Since there's a lot of people claiming to be Satoshi, yet no one can give enough proof to prove it, it's up to us individually whom we want to believe. There are some guesstimates that Satoshi Nakamoto is actually just a code for a group of people working for Bitcoin but certainly there must be someone acting as leader of that group. While some can be assuming that Satoshi is a young Japanese guy or someone with a Japanese background, one article I read posit the ideas that if Satoshi Nakamoto can be a British man based on the way he was writing the WhitePaper of Bitcoin. Well, as far as this man/group goes, anybody's conjecture can be good as yours and mine.

With Satoshi achieving the "larger than life" stature, there is now a big following of the things surrounding the creator of Bitcoin and there are many sites dedicating a big portion of their spaces just to talk the details of this man (or a group of people). To them, the search for the real Satoshi Nakamoto is an ongoing project that can only stopped when the real guy/group has already surfaced into the eyes of the public.

But why is there this continuing fascination with Satoshi Nakamoto? Your opinion is as good as mine.

I don’t think that there is any single man that would have created bitcoin and you know why I said so? If it was just a single man, by now, of all the billions of people that we have in the world, someone would have also been able to write a code that will counter the system of bitcoin as much as some government want it dead, but most government are now beginning to understand that bitcoin is such a coin that it would be absolutely impossible for them to actually break into for them to destroy, and for this application to have been this strong, it would take a group of very strong people to come together to create something that is this strong. So, satoshi might actually be cooperation and not a single person as much as we all thought of.

I am very confused about this problem if we claim it is true that satoahi nakamato is the creator of the first bitcoin, then who is the person named Craigs Wright who has claimed to be the creator of bitcoin or is he just manipulating us now because he expects to be invited by bitcoin investors and other stock founders .

That's not proof. First, the account is locked by admin (theymos) and the only way to have it unlocked is to prove to theymos they are Satoshi. That proof is either through a signed bitcoin message from either the genesis block or several of the earliest blocks that we know were mined by Satoshi, OR a GPG signed message.

Preferably, both a bitcoin signed message AND a GPG signed message.

We have his GPG public key, and we have the first thousand blocks, so we have a thousand addresses, if he can just sign from at least 3 of them (the more the merrier, but that gets tedious) then we have a very high degree of proof, that whoever did that has access to both the wallets and coins and the GPG private key.

So far, no one has done it, and it's likely no one else can do it.

All the fake satoshis who've tried, can't do it, not because they don't want to, but because they are incapable of it.
