Just want to thank alot of the very informative posts and comments on this forum. This Crypto journey began about 9 months ago. I was diagnosed with MS 7 years ago. I had owned Dry cleaners for about 17 years prior. Bought my first when I was 22. Unfortunately about 2 years into my diagnosis I had to stop working. At the time it was best for me to sell my store. I'm a control freak. Me not being there would never have worked. Anyway, about 2 years ago. I fell into a brutal depression. Finally got out of it with alot of help from wife and kids. Anyway. One night I couldn't sleep. Because I had no idea what I could do to earn income or really just live a productive life. Then it hit me. Do what you preach. I tell my children like a naggy grandmother.  Do what makes you happy. Above everything else. So I have always loved Wall street and trading. Problem is I never learned how. So that's where this all came about. Since maybe from the end of January until now. I dove into this. Like I crazed drug addict. Night and day. Learning, reading, watching videos. Weeding out the people who know their shit to the people who blow smoke. I tend to stay away fro  most forums nowadays. Because being an oldschool gamer. Forums were always a place for people to bitch and complain. Very rarely about how to make things better.  So relcuntingly I had to start reading some. Most like I thought were garbage. Then I read a few from here. I was very surprised at the quality. Took me a few months to actually sign up. But I'm glad I did. I've learned some very valuable things from certain topics here. If your even still reading this long winded post. That is useless to most. The reason for it and background. Is to thank people for my ongoing education.

Welcome to Bitcointalk and congratulations on your first post. Everyone has to start somewhere somehow and Bitcointalk has been and still is, a great source for both Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. I wish the best for your health and your journey with the cryptocurrencies.

Luckily enough this ain't a gaming forum mate. Though you could still see nonsensical posts here, you can just read the first 2-3 pages worth of comments and you'd be learning really quickly since most of them are filled up with answers that are backed up with real knowledge and can argue with others. Besides, just watching and reading isn't really enough with learning since you always have questions that are too specific for google to answer, and this forum right here is for you to ask into and receive some helpful insights from a lot of people.

The problem with the post is not its length, you'll see much longer posts here, it's its (lack of) structure.

Next time try to split things like this into 2-3 paragraphs so it can be read easier. People tend to avoid walls of text.

Welcome to the bitcointalk forum. So sad to hear about you but everyone has to start from nothing until you will learn various things about crypto here. It is true that you'll learn right away after reading post from pages 1 to 3 since the answers are in these pages and other pages will have the same answer as the previous answer. Good luck.

I hope you did not just join the forum to make some more money, because a lot of people are joining in the hopes of making millions. Yes, there are a lot more to this forum than simply making money and you have to take time to weed out all the non-constructive posts, before you get to all the gems. 

Bitcointalk.org is a treasure trove of knowledge and knowledge is power.    Trading is just one part of the treasures that are on offer on this forum and chaos are prevented with proper moderation and reporting from the people who love this forum.
