as i know that the minimum total trade in all exchange minimal 0.0005BTC and it's very rare for an exchange have minimum 1$ every trade

If you can afford to lose this money then I'd suggest buying high supply low cap coins that are working towards a viable product or have a plan.

Basically gamble it up. You have a much higher chance of pulling in a high profit from a high supply/low cap coins growth than just dumping 500 in to btc ltc eth, etc at this point.

The thing to look at is marketcap, not if a coin is cheap or expensive. A cheap coin with a zillion coins in circulation isn't the same as a cheap coin with low number of total coins.

If $500 is a small amount of money to you, pick something lower cap, and consider it like a lottery ticket -- most likely it's lost money, but you never know.

If medium amount, consider something like ETH or a higher cap coin.

If it's a lot, just stick it into BTC and forget about it. That may be the best way to go regardless.

And if it's all the money you have, don't put it into crypto at all.

It's more than enough if you only wanted to try working with trading business. You can lessen your initial capital if you din't have any clear plan. Best to research and do your study, instead of asking if what kind of coins to invest you should learned first the fundamentals of those assets that you will going to support. Before doing any actual trading, it will be a smart choice to do pseudo trading first without using your actual money and credits given by the exchanges.
It can take some time for you to understand the mechanics and analysis of it but once you are confident enough.

If you don't have any trading experience, I would recommend you just to buy a stable coin or BTC and put it for a passive income into a casino bankroll or platforms like NEXO or Crypto.com. This will not make you rich, it will bring you 6%-14% per year> But at least your investment will grow. Trading without any experience is tough stuff, leading to loses most of the time.

Asking whether you should go for cheap or expensive coins is not clear, probably you mean coins with low sat or high sat values. If you look at it from that perspective, you will be getting it all wrong, some people who bought SNTR, NPXS, DENT, HOT in very large quantities for mid to long term trading as "cheap" coins which will give big gains are lamenting today because the price dipped more. I'll advise you learn technical analysis, also follow and learn from pro traders. Use that 500$ to get not more than 3 good coins for mid term trading, my opinion.

That's a huge investment start up already. It's up to you how you can maximize the usage of youre budget. With that amount, you can do a day trade already on some huge coins. Dont play with some shitcoin you will buy many, and will sell when its go up. But that isn't guaranteed. Much better to trade with huge and potential coins even though they are bit more expensive than the newly listed project.
