BTCGuild not updating?

When mining I cannot see any changes on the dashboard, doing 8gh right now, any clue why?

Btcguild pays with PPLNS, and so you won't get any payment until the pool solves a block.

And how log does that takes?

I do get shares but my account balance is not update on the dashboard, anyone knows why? It's been over 8 hours and counting now..

I'm mining at 8GH right now.

BTCGuild uses pplns shifts. There are ten shifts, each shift is currently about 55 mins. So you will not get any confirmed earnings until your first shift ends, which is about 9 hours.

So, a bit over 9 hours after you first submit a share, you will start to see coins rolling in.
