Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

I don't like it.

Duplicates on token names without displaying a contract address before open the trading pair (check my post here).

Missing volume stats on Select Market.

Missing order book depth.

etc.

McAfeeDEX needs a lot of work before becoming a functional one.

I immediately closed the tab for the DEX. It asked me to insert a flash drive and it tells that the message came from Google, LLC. That kind of pop-out didn't happen mostly for the websites that I visit. I won't visit this DEX again. I wasn't able to take a screenshot because that's odd to see a pop-out came quickly that asks me to do that. But that freaking scared me.

How will the "security expert" who hasn't been able to protect his own exchange protect our funds? And who's Mcafee? What does he know about cryptocurrencies? His main job is anti-virus software developer, right? What's next, Mcafee coin? Smiley

With dozens of high-end DeX exchanges, I'm sure I won't be here for the rest of my life. Another shit project, I'll never be involved in.

It's weird for sure. On one side McAfee doesn't have the brightest or best reputation from his time diddling with ICOs and crowdfunding.

On the other side he's made a lot of promises and has said his exchange will be decentralised until the end of time - which we do see a lack of in the current market.

There are however, pretty well established DEX's that don't require the McAfee name - use them, they don't really differ much from this new exchange.

Lol. After what he did. I don't know if people are going to believe this clown anymore. He lost his reputation years ago for out of this world predictions that never came true. Also he is promoting decentralized exchange which in the eyes of US government are threat. So I think this clown will never be successful in the long run. Also there's only few beers are using DEX. Why don't he just create an exchange which is complied in the government policies like regular Exchanges?

What is he trying to achieve with his DEX really? Anyway, if he us pronisdong something different, unique and better performing DEX than others, I may not mind using it. However, I keep my fingers crossed as he unfolds the Beta version.

Charting's still poor on the site and displays "Not enough price data for candle chart to be generated" for all timeframes (which there's only 5M, 1H and 1D at the moment) on almost all of the pairs I can see on this DEX, there's no way to see coins with the highest volume in the last 24 hours or anything of the sort on the site, and there's also no scroll bar under the 'Select Market' tab which makes it extremely tedious to scroll all the way through the list of things listed on the site, even though I imagine most people are just going to type in the name of a coin anyways.

McAfee's got a long way to go for sure. We'll see how committed he is to making his site usable and perhaps even user-friendly.

Its cool though since its a DEX maybe with touches and polishes, but even if its completed I will not use it. I’ve never known a good DEX with good volume aside from Forkdelta, Idex and BinanceDex. The rest has low liquidity sometimes I find them boring.

I still do not believe a word of this clown. John is a very strange person that never keeps his promises and always wants to get all the hype. Due to the lack of decentralised exchanges, he has found another way to scam investors.
