That's a big task to be honest, there are a lot of people here fighting scams as well. I would advise you to go to this thread, Scam Accusations and see for yourself who are the community members who are very active in reporting scams and probably you can start it from there. Although I'm not sure if they have the soft skills like you are looking for i.e. managing a team, communication, and process improvement, but you can give it a try.

Out of curiosity, what exactly sets your start-up apart from other law firms in being able to more effectively tackle this kind of stuff? There are many, many law firms who have experts in crypto-applicable laws. What exactly do you guys bring to the table that other companies aren't bringing to the table right now?

As far as I know we have a sub board here about the legality of crypto, Legal.

But don't you think that you just complicate things in your end? I mean you are looking for a FTE here and there could arise a lot of issues. Why don't you look in your locality though? Anyways, good luck job hunting here and just be careful who you deal with.

Of course I prefer someone that can work full-time on the project, but since it is commission based it is understandable when you can't work full-time from the start. However, I would strongly prefer someone that can work full-time when the first refunds get in.

Really? You are a CEO of a company and you are looking for a replacement here in this forum? Are you even thinking straight here? I don't even think that you need to start looking for one here since you already said that you have a “great network” and you already have partnered up with a big law association which I'm pretty sure that it guarantees you to have better replacements suggested by them. I don't know what kind of gimmick you are into but if you are really running a company you must know your options first before heading out here.

It is a new project, but the company behind it is well-established and has a great network. Because of that the project already managed to get a partnership with a big law association that supplies us with access to thousands of lawyers around the globe.

Unfortunately I am not in a position atm to lead this company and will be on a break for some months/half a year. After the break I will continue to help (probably as co-founder/president/managing member, we will figure it out).

Do keep in mind that this position will be paid on a commission basis. If done well you will have a great salary (you will get commission per case/refund).

- able to think for your self
- take initiative
- able to manage and improve processes
- create and manage a team
- communicate to the investors and team

There are a lot of people qualified for this project, but when it becomes to being full time I don't know if they can commit, they have their ways of fighting scam here, but at least you can name the project or lead us to the site, so we can check if people deserve to work on the project, since this is not an ICO it's better to post the link here and have a discussion here, we can't discuss something we cannot see the overall concept of the project and not just description.

Well, you need a highly experienced person to be able to replace your position and run your project smoothly. I'm sure there are many of them available here who matched with your goals, but I'm not sure any of them will take this opportunity.

Why don't you choose one of your team member to lead cause it would be better since they already know where the ship should go and already the chemistry too with other members.

I think that means that any commission from the recovered money can take years to trickle down. And that's assuming the company (or the CEO, I presume) is persuasive enough to have the victims send him money in advance to pay for lawyers.

your proposal is very strange, mainly because of this:

If you have a team of 8 people who already work with you, wouldn't it be more appropriate for you to choose one of these 8 people to be CEO? they are already familiar with your project, so they know how your project works. Another suggestion: why don't you look for someone from the offline world who is known to you and is a person of your trust?

And anyone who runs a business will know the struggles of getting people to pay. It seems that when business is involved a lot of people lose their personal morals, and will do anything to not pay, and this is in the real world where identity is known. This would be even worse when consulting with anonymous people involved in cryptocurrencies.

The idea of preventing scams via exposure, and supporting those that have been scammed is a good one, but the execution probably wouldn't be that effective in cryptocurrencies. Especially, since you would be dealing on a global level with all kinds of jurisdictions, and if you've ever read up on law or know a little about it then you'd know that the laws within your own jurisdiction can  be very hard to stay up to date on. Lawyers are constantly keeping up with this sort of thing, and when there's a global issue there's probably hundreds of lawyers, and different official involved. You would need a rather large network demanding high amounts in salary to be able to pull this off.

Well, depends if you want a freelancer or a full time worker. If freelancer, I think you can find many freelancers pages online or groups like that on Facebook, where freelancers are looking for jobs like this, I saw a few, but the person should meet your interest so you need to talk to him yourself, but there are options. Also I think there are pages where you can post the open position at your company, place or etc., and then people can upload their life descriptions there and then you get in touch with them
