I purchased a KNC Neptune preorder off eBay in FEB. Got it for about 9kUSD. After the payment was received the seller went dark. I asked for info I should have requested prior to buying like his proof of purchase. I received no response. Waited about a week even though during the payment process I was getting almost hourly emails. I filed a dispute then escalated to a claim a few days later. The last day the seller could respond to the claim he send me a package. When it arrived it turned out to be a Lead Pencil. I had to file some report on a federal online crime site, send all emails and contact with the seller to eBay. After multiple calls and about a month timeframe I got the word tonight that PayPal ruled in my favor. Expect a full refund in about 5 days. Now hopefully I can invest in a different miner. Any suggestions? Hoping to get about 1TH/S for now. S2? S1? maybe one of those "A1" Chinese rigs? Also any ideas on how to get the wife off my ass about almost losing 9KUSD on something to mine "fake" money. (she doesn't really understand bitcoin.

Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

Tell your wife you just doubled your money with your investment... you can now buy 2 S2's and get 2Th/s and use half the electricity and you'll have some change left over... not bad  Wink

You got lucky!

Just hold on to your $ & BTC. Nothing is mining back profit while Bitcoin prices refuse to rise, at the same time mining difficulty rises 50% per month. Wink

Tell your wife to watch this video... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qHUPPYzzZrI and explain you're investing in a pre-IPO for a revolutionary new kind of payment system.

Also, the heat off the miners also drys the clothes real good, she'll like that. Tongue

Buy 2 S2s and better PSUs than the ones included. Mine your heart out. As for the wife, take her shopping with some of the money from mining. She will never talk about it again.

I think I saw a post somewhere where a guy said he let his wife shop with some of the money/coins he made... That's most likely the best idea Smiley just gotto find the miner that's gonna roi for me. I live in Guam so heat isn't actually a good thing Tongue I will check out that video in a few when I get off my tablet. are there any good YouTube vids to explain bitcoin? I was thinking about making one. If we want the price to rise more we actually need good publicity. The guys at my work only see the headlines. With 500million in btc missing all they can think is scam.
