I though that it would be a cakewalk for FC Goa. They were ahead by 3-0 after the first half. However, Chennaiyin fought really hard to make it 3-2. Then lack of concentration by the Chennaiyin defenders allowed FCG to increase the lead to 4-2. Now FCG is comfortably topping the table with 21 points, with ATK second at 18 points. Bengaluru FC lost their last match against ATK, and they are at 3rd place with 16.

In today's match it was Odisha that kept the lead from the beginning of the match. The goals at 28th minute by Aridane made Odisha lead the game, but Jamshedpur tried hard and got a penalty shoot out. This gave Jamshedpur a goal by the 38th minute. Once again during the additional time of the first half once again Aridane made a goal. By this Odisha leads with two goals by the first half. This continued throughout the game, and by the end of the second half the result was the same as the end of first half. Odisha wins 2-1 against Jamshedpur.

Now they will remain at the 4th spot, with 3 points separating them from the BFC. BTW, the NorthEast United FC has a good opportunity to move up the table, when they face Kerala Blasters today. The Blasters are currently going through a rough patch (8-game win less streak) and NEUFC will be targeting for the full three points from this match.

It was Mumbai winning against Hyderabad out of their low effort play. Going through the statistics one can know the play progress between both the teams. Even if Bengaluru wins this game, they will fail to top the table, as they have only 16 points compared to 21 for FCG. Right now, Goa seems to be comfortably ahead of all the other teams, with a 3 point difference separating them from the second placed ATK.

In the mentioned match between Bengaluru FC and Goa Chhetri has made Bengaluru win the match even though Goa managed to level the score after the first goal from Chhetri. Even after the win Goa stands the first position while Bengaluru have moved to the second position. Tomorrow's match is important because both were within the top four, wins will vary their positions on the points table.

Kerala Blasters have moved to the 7th position, after their win against Hyderabad FC yesterday. Normally it is the Kerala Blasters who lose the game after scoring the first goal. But yesterday, it was just the opposite. Hyderabad FC scored the first goal, with Bobô putting the visitors ahead on 14th minute. In return, the KBFC scored a total of 5 goals (Bartholomew Ogbeche -2, Vlatko Drobarov, Messi Bouli, and Seityasen Singh one each) to destroy the visitors. KBFC gained 3 points, as well as improved their goal difference.

I have noticed that the Northeast United FC is at the 8th place in the points table. But that is not due to their fault though. Two of the matches were postponed, due to the ongoing civil unrest in Assam. But even then, Chennaiyin FC are at the 9th position, having won only 2 of their 10 matches. NEUFC has won just two, but they have 5 draws to their name.

The teams on the top of the table is quite strong to defend any team in the bottom. Goa has defeated North East United 2-0 and Bengaluru defeated Jamshedpur 2-0 to keep the position strong on the points table. Today's match between Chennai and Hyderabad will be interesting, because if Chennai wins it moves few positions above on the points table.

Northeast United FC is now at the 9th position. I think that this is their worst ever performance. They never had this much bad ranking, since the start of the ISL. You can't really blame them though. Because of the unrest going on in Assam, some of their matches were postponed and it was very difficult for them to organize training sessions.

Odisha is getting stronger defeating Hyderabad which is in the bottom of the table. More and more changes have been taking place in the top order of the table. Now with this win Odisha getting into the top order of the table will boost their performance. In my view Goa and Bengaluru stands strong while the competence for the third and fourth position will be very tough.

Hyderabad FC managed to score during the very first minute (through Marcelinho), and I thought that they may get 3 points from this game. But they failed to keep the momentum going and conceded two goals later (both scored by Aridane Santana. To make matters worse, Dimple Bhagat got the second yellow card and was sent off. It is getting really depressing for Hyderabad FC. After 13 matches, they have just one win to their name. And this is a team which boasts of stars such as Nikhil Poojari, Marcelinho and Kamaljit Singh.

Hyderabad FC is looking pathetic. They just have 5 points from 13 matches, with just one win. Today we have the match between the 8th and 9th ranked sides (Chennaiyin FC and Northeast United FC). If NEUFC wins the match, then they will jump from 9th spot to the 6th spot. I expect them to win, because Chennaiyin is regarded as one of the weak teams.

But this time, they lost to Jamshedpur FC, after taking the lead initially. The Blasters were leading after the 11th minute, thanks to a goal from Messi Bouli. Noe Acosta made it 1-1. The turning point came when Abdul Hakku of KBFC was shown a red card during the 50th minute. Even then, Bartholomew Ogbeche scored a goal and put the KBFC ahead by 2-1. But an own goal from the same Bartholomew Ogbeche made sure that KBFC gets zero points from this game.
