What do you expect from a perfectly competitive match? Maybe both teams will score a lot of goals, otherwise, they will try to score. But Mumbai could not do as many attacks as we saw from Goa in yesterday's match. Besides ball possession, total passes, Mumbai lags far behind Goa in all statistics. Due to the remarkable achievements of Amrinder Singh and P. Lachenpa, Mumbai reached the final.

Will be interesting to see how East Bengal performs this time. During the ISL 2020-21, their performance was pathetic (although they managed to win a few matches towards the end and somehow avoided the wooden spoon). Don't have much hope for Kerala Blasters, as they always underperform. Kerala is always regarded as one of the strongholds for football in India, but teams from that state never performs at national level. This time also, the competition will be dominated by teams like Mumbai City, ATK Mohun Bagan and NEUFC.

Well that i what the india soccer fans were waiting for since quiet a long time now, and i am pretty excited as well about this years Indian super league and i feel it should get more exposure. East bengal did not performed well last time around and i am expecting that this year they will improve their performance, and Mumbai City is also going to do well.

Not bad kerala blasters This is the first match of this season we have more time. I hope they will come back stronger in the next match. Atkmb played well so the night gone with them. But great day for kbfc luna, sahal, diaz, bijoy, marko, jessel, alvaro, rahul all of them played well and scored 2 goals against a huge team in the first game. Atkmb still have a lot of room for improvement even in this massive victory.

Bangalore went without a win in their next 5 matches. They lost 4, and drew one. What a shame, given that some of the star players are included in their squad (Sunil Chhetri, Ashique Kuruniyan, Udanta Singh, Gurpreet Singh Sandhu.etc). Now they are placed at the 9th spot, far below other teams. All this after winning their first match against one of the strongest sides. This time it looks like Mumbai City has the best chance to lift the trophy. I don't think that Bengaluru is any longer in the race.
