I think there is still a way to overcome the problem of scamers in this crypto room (but I'm not saying to eliminate it completely). . This might not have a big effect but at least it can reduce some of the fraud projects that exist in this industry. . like avoiding and not promoting suspicious projects repeatedly. . I have always observed that many of them and even have high ratings but still support suspicious projects, especially participants (social media). maybe this is one reason why many fraud projects are increasingly rampant, because someone always gives hope to them and makes someone trapped in it.
so what do you think? I draw the conclusion above based on what I saw there.

Obviously there is no way to completely stop fraudulent projects from launching, and also there is no 100% surety for bounty hunters that they are promoting a project which won't scam but we just do proper research to choose the best which look legit. The big question is, how do we detect a scam project when it has so much hype or team members looking so real? Some projects will list their tokens after token sale, yet they will never deliver their promises. Our main focus should be on project development after token sale, that's how to really know if a project is very legit. To curb scam projects launching rampantly, I think regulations will go a long way. Also, use your head, nobody needs to tell you to invest what you can afford to lose.

Most people don't do research anymore, for many, what matters is the numbers on the thread. If a topic is lucrative enough for an average member of this forum, they will definitely dive in right away. With research, it is very easy to spot a legit project. For example: This is an image I originally took for a different topic where the original poster was asking whether the project is legit or not. As you can obviously see from the image that the so-called "project" is offering 350% returns on your investment, even more so if you refer your friends to the project. This is statistically impossible. And this whole research took me just 10 seconds, that is it. 10 seconds and I was able to find this specific part on their website. TL;DR: Research like a normal person instead of losing your minds over promised hard $krilla ca$h whatever.

Even though you're vigilant in selecting those legit projects, and thus strategies to determine them we're your motivations. I don't think that's enough to be called you're free of those possibilities, because once you kept yourself getting an involvement on different projects related to cryptocurrency; you're highly susceptible to become one of their victim. In order to prevent those worst situations to keep arising, avoid taking risk on any of thoe schemes they had even what promises they tried to deceive at you, always ignore them.

Low rated projects most time turns scam as well, its not about the ratings because good projects can get low or high rating, it doesn't matter cos even bad projects pay rating websites to get good rating, i think the solution is doing research yourself

If your an investor don't gamble your money over ICO's it is better to choose from top 50 cryptocurrencies (except stablecoins) in coinmarketcap but of course this is not a financial advise. But if your asking as a bounty hunter you can't avoid promoting scams because some of them are too good to be true and sometimes hard to detect.

Scams in most cases "offer" high guaranteed return, generous referral system and 100% secure investment. The reallity? You will never see your money or money earned through the referral system.

It's really difficult to be sure about any projects as scammer too have became more and more advance and they present themselves better than most of the legit projects. The first thing to observe if you want to lower your risk of getting scammed is the team members and verifying they are really involved in the project and has the expertise as advertised. I don't mean to say all projects with anonymous teams are scams but 90% of them are.

If we can't eliminate it, we should at least do something to avoid them. There are tips and ways to get rid of scam projects in this forum. Checking the legitimacy and doing analysis before joining a project is necessary. Investors and traders should unite in eliminating fraudulent and scam in crypto world instead of promoting fake projects. We should warn and remind each other continuously, that will surely be a big help.

In most cases, when the claims made by the project are too good to be true, then they mostly are. I know it's very interesting to invest in a project claiming to change the world or be the next this or that coin, but it's just too much.
Other than the obvious signs as mentioned above, it's hard to seperate scams from legit but just badly executed ideas. In both cases you will end up losing a lot of money if you went in deep.
If we look back at most projects and what they have turned into, then it's safe to say that most ended up making a lot of people lose a lot of money, where a minority of them made a select few extremely wealthy.
It's largely based on luck to find an actually good project because you will only find out how good or bad a project is after a year or so.

Talking about eliminating were more like a fiction. I totally agree, it could definitely force those fraud projects to terminate their operation as it majority notices their unlawful agenda. However, as newcomers continuesly to come it would be difficult because there will be always be a new trap. I have always observed that many of them and even have high ratings but still support suspicious projects, especially participants (social media). maybe this is one reason why many fraud projects are increasingly rampant, because someone always gives hope to them and makes someone trapped in it.
so what do you think?
Still even a project with good ratings are just a mere scheme of them. They already bought those votes to certain rating platform to make them unsuspicious. Ratings by platforms couldn't even trust. By at least a self research would be way more effective to avoid those fraud projects.

One way or the other, the projects will get advertised. If they can't find average members in regards to signature and bounty campaigns to advertised them then they'll employed the service of advertisment platforms to advertise their projects. Each and everyone just have to be cautious in regards to the security of their funds making it their responsibility to safeguard it, knowing what to invest in and what not to patronize. Doing so, we might just reduce the rate at which scam projects succeed. You just have to understand that what people or site choose to advertise, is their personal decision and not to based your judgement on what a good project is, on these ads. To borrow some words from this user; Be skeptical: Most of the claims that you will read are misguided, unsupported, or just wishful thinking.

There is no better way to avoid scam projects than relying on your research, stay away from rating websites because they are dubious, consider that 99percents of new projects are scam and if a project is far from scam you should be able to figure that out

Before a project can look suspicious it depends on how good you are at researching, most times even promising projects do turned scam, crypto space is actually in trouble if you ask me, scammers are making everything hard for new investors

The problem is how to identify a project like this, the target of a project like this is someone who is easily tempted by big profits. I'm sure with the lure of large profits investors will join and the bounty hunters will promote the project. The result is that there are scammer projects, but sometimes there are also projects that are really good.
If you ask my opinion about how to avoid project scams, the way is not to be in any project investment. easy things and big impact.

Researches on new bounty projects can only safe you to an extent, some bounty projects are legit looking but its only a way to scam investors, even with my level of doing research on projects i still fall victim to scam projects, its all about trying over and over again, i wish projects like gowithmi will find there way into crypto space

The first thing to do is to get rid of your greed, i bet many projects will use high reward offers to lure you, its nothing new and its spreading fast in crypto space, even new POS projects do this alot and in the end they turn scam, whitepaper and roadmap won't safe you either and its better to focus on the teams last

I think many people have stop doing research on projects and newbies don't even bother to do research on projects, you are to be blame for your actions and if you fail you should learn from your mistake, sit tight and stay serious with new bounties, you can figure it out if they are worth promoting or not

It would be hard to organize a project review site that would be without any bias so you have to pretty much trust on yourself. Experience is really only way i can think of weeding the bad projects out fast. But before you can have an experience, you have to learn as much as you can. People learn by reading about them or doing mistakes themselves. And because we want to avoid the latter one, here's one topic to read about it: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5125435.0
