What is definition of our top exchange? Total volume of over all coin or top volume in BTC only because many big exchange don't offer altcoins or if ever they offer altcoins then it only few altcoins so comparing them with overall volume is quite bias.

Let's assume top exchange in terms of BTC volume and number of organic user that trades in exchange.

I would suggest you use any of the 1-20 or 1-100 exchanges. If you are an average trader and you can't afford going through kyc then use any of the exchanges that does not demand kyc from average traders.

Nowadays, it is extremely hard to find good exchanges, and I would never trust ratings that were made by third party websites, especially coinmarketcap. I have five exchanges to share: Binance, Huobi, Okex, Gate.io and Kucoin.

I wanna suggest you to Coinbase but there are few coin you can buy or trade. Binance, Okex and BIBOX I trust, if my list more increase then Bitmex, Bittrex, bithumb etc. Binance and Bittrex has more than 250 and 265 trading pair where you can buy and also trusted. Okex has more 400 pair. But you shouldn't follow top CMC lists because there has some fake volume exchange list like P2PB2B exchange.

Top ten exchanges varies . We can't always see the chart to be the same everyday . But there are top ten exchanges that I can also mention is , Binance,  Okex , Huobi, BW, Gate, Dcoin, Yobit, Latoken etc. The most important thing is having to trade in an exchange that produce good volume and list good projects.

If its on top, that doesn't necessarily mean that its good for you, your trading strategy and the coin you choose to trade with, to add withdrawal options as one more important factor. For example I can't trade on binance and some other exchanges cause my country is not supported. Even thou I'm registered on many exchanges I'm active on just couple at the time, and for some time kucoin is the best choice for me, after them crex24 and idex market. I test some decentralised exchanges like Changelly and wavesdex and I can say they are very interesting for now.
