With so many good altcoins around, do you think Bitcoin can cross $50k by Dec 2020?

Have you take a look to the price lately, the tendency of the market is really clear the price is going down and there is nothing you can do to change it, I will love to see bitcoin reaching 50,000 dollars by December of 2020, that is in fact one of my target prices and I'll be extremely happy about it but I have to be honest with myself and acknowledge that is not going to happen,

There is not really a reason why bitcoin will go so high so fast, also you are making the assumption that somehow altcoins are going to help bitcoin to cross that level and if anything the opposite is true, altcoins take money away from bitcoin and weaken it.

If I or anyone guarantees you that the value of bitcoin will reach $50k by December, such person will be a liar or a scammer, we can all only speculate that we expect the price to reach that amount, but we have to still be able to analyze it too, we have to talk about the things that we see that makes us to conclude that the value will reach there.

I am a believer of bitcoin and I wish for the very best for the coin, but I don’t really see it getting that far by that time because of so many of these manipulators that we see in the market which will always crash the price of bitcoin at any time and always make it dump before its set time. It is only massive adoption that can really make us to have such value by that time, so we have to do everything possible by 2020 to really push much avert for bitcoin.

For sure no coin could ever make the value same as bitcoin because bitcoin is number one coin and it will remain the same forever. People who are buying now will surely hold until it become $50k and yeah panic selling is the only thing which makes wrong image and wrong direction of crypto so to see bitcoin 50k dollar it’s important to wait and see till end of 2020.

We're too far to meet that price as of the moment, and even if we see it recovering from latest dip its too hard to acquire that expensive price. Maybe I could go for possibilities of $15k or less, and maybe the expectations I got was to a small price just to avoid getting frustrated someday. Most probably in 2020 let's see if $50k will be a realistic idealism for everybody.

That is a long way to go to just count for a year though. But it is a thing, not sure but it could be possibly happened. As bitcoin is so dynamic that people demand's goes sky-rocketted it could happened right away. I don't know any statistics out there but bitcoin did hit 20k by 2017 wherein there are who are in and who are out for bitcoin but still it hits. And as it progress there will always be a light. It will surely make everyones wealthy.

$50k is a big dream. You should act with facts instead of dreams. It is very difficult to get the answer you want here, because there is no one can give the exact answer. I only can say about it, there will be a better opportunity for BTC to rise in next year.

50,000 is a very high value but Iam sure too the price of bitcoin will definitely be able go up there it ,we all know that in the near future bitcoin pump will often occur and Iam sure there will be 2020 pump but it will definitely not peak at 50,000

50,000 is a very high value but Iam sure too the price of bitcoin will definitely be able go up there it ,we all know that in the near future bitcoin pump will often occur and Iam sure there will be 2020 pump but it will definitely not peak at 50,000

$5000 to high if want to achieved in several months left.we still have 2 months again , meanwhile current price still around $9.000.if we want to hit this price maybe positive statement from china' s president needed again as trigger. A small possibility indeed, the $50,000 USD sure is a great price for Bitcoin to settle, but the possibility is pretty much slim but maybe it will if the whales would interrupt with Bitcoin and may have their own pump manipulation again that can be possible but given the latest all-time high the price might just sit to $30,000 or $40,000 USD only.

Indeed, it's quite right. It has a slim possibility that Bitcoin will reach $50k but who knows. I have doubt it will but in my mind it is impossible. Probably the next blockchain halving will come and we might be happy to result that our expected price will hit. So, let the time can tell and reveal the truth soon with this bitcoin price. Because it is very highly volatile and unpredictable we don't know what happens next. Let's do hope it will happen.

Anything can happen within this space and I'm positive that year 2020 will be a good year for Bitcoin given that the halving is coming. We may or not reach $50k but I'm pretty sure that we will surpass the $20k mark and create a new ATH for Bitcoin. The history of Bitcoin halving will always repeat

There a lot of good altcoins but they are nowhere near from the support Bitcoin is getting right now, It's been two years of struggling for Bitcoin price honestly,  there is no guarantee if the price will reach that level come next year, we have high hopes before 2017 ends but look what 2018 and 2019 has brought us we can only hope, now that Bitcoin is being adopted globally let us just continue our support, everything will fall in the right place and Bitcoin's price will eventually hit another all time high.

Bitcoin halving is scheduled in 4th quarter of 2020. This will surely gonna bring up a price pump. Bitcoin reaching $50k will take the marketcap to $900 Billion plus. This will need a huge cash inflow. The danger of recession is also there. If it happens, people will be reluctant to put their money into any new venture which could be risky. This can restrict the money inflow. I think the price might touch the levels of $30k. But reaching $50k is a bit tough.

We are reaching the end of October and to see a valuation of $50k you need to have a crazy hike in price and it is impossible to expect a price like that in the near future and it would be a surprise if we are able to break the all time profit in the next few months let alone reaching new valuation  .
Altcoin market will rise whenever the price of bitcoin rises and that is what we are seeing in the past.

The value of $ 50k is huge for the long term. I believe it will touch on it, but for the short term it is not possible. Bitcoin is currently a price range of $ 9.6k lower than $ 50k. It also takes time to get through the real price is bitcoin.

Well, I think 50K$ is too much to expect from BTC by the end of 2020. It could happen somewhere in the span of five years but not before than that. Even we are heading towards the BTC halving next year, 50K$ doesn't seem to be achievable yet it would be astonishing to see if it managed to do so. Bitcoin halving will happen in May 2020! After every halving, Bitcoin went to the moon! So, this is possible for Bitcoin to hit 50K USD at the end of 2020 to the first half of 2021! Personally, I would be very happy if the Bitcoin price hit 30K USD!
