I think its pretty unlikely without alot of momentum and 'rocket fuel' type action in the volume happening, I see no reason for that to occur right this moment.   I can understand accumulation and some positive action but my guess is we go back and forth as has been the case previously.




Heres an old chart I wanted to post, just showing action at this previous price level with lots of back and forth between the space in the larger move.  That'd be a normal outcome from now to year end.

Yes, i think so. Could happen even faster, because on the road to the marketcaps we are going to after that 50k are so high that there need to be high volatility (read market cycles) before that. And those rises and crashes will happen fast in the beginning of that road.

I would give like 20% chance that it will. By Dec 2021 that chance is way higher.

I wouldn't go that high on bitcoin's chances to hit $50,000 by the end of next year.  I'd say maybe there's a 2% chance, if that.  It really has a long way to go before things start to heat up that much, and remember, if bitcoin starts to rise that fast it'll probably crash just as hard as it did when it hit its last all time high.

We're starting to see a little bit of momentum now, but it's only been like 2 days since bitcoin went up around $2000 and there's no way to tell if this is the start of something or just a fluke of the market.  I guess the good thing is that the price appears to be hanging on at around $9400-$9500.  When I wake up tomorrow morning I'm hoping no disasters have struck with the price.  That happens occasionally.

Good altcoins around doesn't affect bitcoin price i think.
I would say it's hard to reach 50k but it's not imposibble, but we have to attract so much investors to buy and hold bitcoins to reach that price.
I think good news from china yesterday can make investors from china back to crypto again just like 2017 and make a new all time high.

Not sure whether bitcoin can hit that anticipated level of $50k by the next year because its too high.But if everything goes right and large manipulations or dump situation are not faced than we might hit $25-$30k next year.But still there are chances of everything in this market.

Bitcoin will reach a good number and there is no doubt about it. Without good altcoins or bad altcoins, it can still move forward and there is no stopping it.

Although I want this to happen, I want to be realistic, there are expectation and reality on everything I want to focus on reality and will just expect something when there is a realization that it could happen, but unfortunately, there is none, the $8000 level has been on us for two to three months and I don't see the trend changing, we are likely to experience that this 2020.
But I hope I'm wrong I will be happy if there is a big jump on the price because in the back of my mind I also want another all-time high.

May i know how about altcoins have you invested to have this much confidence in the altcoin market, even if there is a rally in the altcoin market only the top coins will move upward and the rest of the shit coins will be dying in a few years time, i am not a visionary to predict the price of bitcoin but it is possible that the price could reach those valuation in the future considering the logic of the amount of coins in the market reduces with the next halving.

That's true, none knows what gonna happen with the price over the falling days, weeks, months and years. Everything put forth were based on some predictions upon the market changes associated with various occasions. This sometimes gives a coincidence and sometimes fails. Accuracy of the market price is not possible, but close values were predicted. What's been stated is an achievable price but when this gonna happen is unknown.

OP trying to predicted for 2020 because in this year bitcoin will has most important moment.many expert and crypto communtiy very confidence at that year bitcoin price will touch new record.it based on previous data and research , after halving btc price will moon.and if we make this prediction i think there no fault for it.as trader and investor this the thing that we have to do.

Quite possible. Considering the next halving is nearing, it could happen while supply decreases. However, there are many factors to consider aside from that. Include government regulations, their move to ban/decrease bitcoin activity (by making their own or imposing laws), and possible crisis that might happen because we cannot predict the future. It could pump up to that price because there's really no limit to where bitcoin prices could hit, no institution controls its inflation and it's purely by supply and demand.

Everything is possible. But we do want that? Really? Because that means another FOMO bubble which, sooner or later will end badly for many.
Although the chances for a new bubble start are quite big imho, I'd still prefer to see it come a bit later and meanwhile let Bitcoin have some period of slow and steady growth.

the biggest question is what kind of news that will propel Bitcoin price to another all-time high because Bitcoin performance was due to China news and Bakkt's, definitely halving will have an impact on the price next year, what will be the price is something we can speculate.

It could be because China, Bakkt, Halving are triggering bitcoin prices to rise, so many people are predicting bitcoin will rise to 20k because there are three reasons, namely China, Bakkt, Halving then all of them are aimed at it, so 2020-2021 is where bitcoin will beyond its limits.

Asking a short term prediction is something that I think we should know already is impossible, we can only believe that bitcoin will reach a certain milestone in the long term future, but as reality set in, we will begin to see in the shortest time if such future predicted price will be possible or not.

The only way that one can still predict bitcoin , is within a week I think and that is for traders, they are able to know if it is the time to buy bitcoin or to sell bitcoin, but with faith and believe anyway, I think that we can think along with the op even though the value predicted seems unreasonable to me, because we will need lots of adoption and institutional investors for that huge value to be able to set record in the market cap of bitcoin, which means we must have been looking at trillion for such prediction to happen.

Bitcoin halving will happen in May 2020! After every halving, Bitcoin went to the moon! So, this is possible for Bitcoin to hit 50K USD at the end of 2020 to the first half of 2021! Personally, I would be very happy if the Bitcoin price hit 30K USD!

This is a classic mistake that many investors make, just because something happened in the past doesn't necessarily mean that it will happen in the near or far future, it is correct to say that after each halving bitcoin has grown in value but this happened because the demand went up as well during that time, so we need to question ourselves, are we going to see a higher demand for bitcoin during the next months?

And no one really knows the answer to that question, some days ago it seemed as if the market was ready to go even lower than what it was and a few days later the circumstances in the market changed completely but my conclusion is that even if I believe the price will go up after the halving it will not reach 50,000.
