Can Bitcoin cross $50,000 by Dec 2020?

I'am still listening but Im here sharpening my scythe and thinking thoughts of a price going down not up.    Always ready to listen for signs of strength and a break upwards of course but a slip under here seems an ideal playout of a negative scenario, the blip upwards the head fake that helps the downside ultimately.

 Could go that way or could be something else but I never want to be blind sided by the possibility I refused to consider.

As i watch the market situation in the previous years, i can conclude that there is no chance that the market would touch the $50,000 by Dec 2020. If halving going to change the price from the previous ATH to $100,000 then there might be a small chances that bitcoin would touch too close to the $50,000 but i still doubt it even if it would touch at that price. We really need a good reason to actually reach that price.

Lol, where are those many good altcoins that you are talking about . Most of them have tanked real hard mate and let's be realisitc for once guys. How on earth do you want to see Bitcoin rise all the way up to $50k by ending of next year. This is highly impossible looking at the situation of crypto industry and with most countries trying to prevent its adoption.

For me, I am listening more to the technology adoption tune of it to know the direction the price will be by that next year if there is massive adoption of bitcoin based on the usage of it for payment, I see bitcoin really moving towards that figure of $50k, but if we are still bent on using speculation to control the market, we need to always be very careful , because one thing that I have notice about speculation is that it will always head for the opposite side of the speculation every time the is concentration of it on one side.

When people are speculating that bitcoin will go upward that is when bitcoin would start growing downward, but when bitcoin is speculated to be growing downward that is when it grows upward, and it takes someone who would listen to the tune very well to cope.

I'm pretty sure you know that market is very unpredictable that anything can happen in just a short period of time which is why people speculate Bitcoin prie, reaching $50K by the end of 2020 is not impossible specially that there will be an up-coming Bitcoin halving and if you were following the trend the price of Bitcoin always rise after the halving which is likely to repeat again for the 3rd time.

According to this prediction we are going to hit a new ATH next year before the alving which could be close to 50k.
The price is really acting like it wants to go up from here and if it does all those undecided people will jump on the train one by one.

I also feel that this prediction is excessive, even today we are still guessing whether the price of bitcoin can reach $ 20,000 or not. I believe that there will be some people who believe in this prediction without any information and make excessive investments. yes, information for the price of bitcoin rises is quite large for next year, but I advise not to expect too much with the increase. bitcoin prices need time to keep going up and growing. however, don't expect too much because when you expect it and invest beyond your limits, regret and stress will wait for you if the results are beyond your expectations.

Yes. Since we believe BTC so much why not $50K isn't even that much. But its probably not going to happen by 2020. I'd be one of the happy holder if its price spikes up to $50k and I can't wait already.  Holders are already seeing how much they are going to be earning after halving.

We will probably need more than just a few big companies adopting bitcoin for the price to go that high, what we really need is that institutional investors begin to take an interest in this market, but they are very smart once they decide that they want to be part of this market they are not going to invest all their money at once, what they are going to do is to enter in the market in a very slow way and then once they are comfortable with the amount of coins they are holding they will make the announcement that they will enter the market.

That is when will see an explosion in the price of bitcoin and many other cryptocurrencies but until that day comes I find it very difficult that we will surpass the previous all time high.

Yes. Since we believe BTC so much why not $50K isn't even that much. But its probably not going to happen by 2020. I'd be one of the happy holder if its price spikes up to $50k and I can't wait already.  Holders are already seeing how much they are going to be earning after halving.

50K is closer than you might think if you consider the following:

• All previous BTC bull markets ended in the price increasing more than 300% from the ATH, which in this case would take us higher than 60k USD
• the exponential trendline we used to follow for 10 years points to even higher targets
• The bull market of 2017 took us from 1k to 20k USD which most of us weren't even dreaming of when we were below 1k in 2015 and 16
• BTC was banned in China in 2017. The next bull run will probably happen with them onboard

Exactly! Bitcoin can hit 50K USD anytime in any year, it has always that possibility! But no one can say exactly when it gonna happen. All people can do just predict the price by seeing the chart, but the price chart is not right all the time, we have shown it in 2018! People are mocking most of the crypto expert because they did not predict, they ensured a higher price, and those predictions are using as fun now!

Me too, STT. I did enjoy this run, very glad it came up to this level just as month's end came up. Was actually having serious problems on P2P selling though, almost an entire day waiting with no takers, leading me to think people were simply not interested in buying at this time, which leads to forced selling and then uncontainable pressure, especially when the walls aren't any good between 8 to 10k.

Can't even really tell where sentiment is leaning now though.

The influence of major business companies is strong on the minds of masses. If starbucks is accepting bitcoin that means there is no harm in accepting this digital currency as means of payments or as means of investment. In a decade or even less than that, bitcoin would be used by all businesses as the means of payments because of its increasing popularity. Even backward countries like Africa people know about bitcoin. This all will make bitcoin reach 50k dollars or more.

I believe that bitcoin is changing the world in many ways, blockchain technology is very useful, and entire crypto scene made a huge progress in the past 10 years. I strongly believe that this technology and bitcoin as head of the crypto is the future, and I believe that price of bitcoin and some alts will rise in the future, as usage grows, demand will grow, and in the end price will grow too. Its what I believe in, but the truth is that nobody knows what will happen and when will it happen, and anybody who says different is a liar or simply a fraudster.

We are free to make our own prediction and I like people who are still optimistic until now.
There is no limit for btc to grow, this depends on us, the more FOMO the better the price it will become, however, if we will just average the price from the current price now to December 2020, I think its not likely to reach $50,000 as that would be a 500% increase or more in just one year.

Its possible I know that, but I'd always rather to see bitcoin slowing down but consistently growing.

There is a possibility that it can happen since I guess by that time many people are patronizing bitcoin but we don't know for sure because $50,000 is a bit too far to reach and based on bitcoins performance in a span of a year it doesn’t spike thousands of dollars in a year but we will know for sure once we get there, what is important now is today let’s not focus more about the future because we can’t really predict the future.
