Hi all,

Im very new to this forum and i have to admit i don't really understand anything regarding to bitcoins. I have made a few transactions
with always went went. Just the IDEAL to a bitcoin wallet stuff. I wanted to do the same this time but i got an email that the address where i was
sending it to was wrong. So after validation they send it to my Electrum wallet. From there i wanted to send it to the other address.

I received the transaction quite quick. So i send them right away. But here is when i'm lost. The transaction which is received is still getting confirmations,
its up to 206 now. But my balance was correct.

So i've send the bitcoins and this is also receiving confirmations. After 6 i got a check in the circle that they were send. But i didn't receive anything on the other address.
They confirmations are now up to 201..

Sending address and transaction ID:

31yRCBXFnGbPXQrmJhXuvtA8RfECKtCkiU
a14b01aefb62d1b9ff7c5a094bf5f29397fee7e659abece486b5d6f8da92ea5b

Received transaction:
14b5EfgrLHkANk3YoabhW4ZT1Th7GiHHRh
43388016fe4bd069def076882a1a7cbf3da8956e0aed0710ffd89d352024032c

I already tried googling the address which i send it to, and there are a lot of transactions on that. Can it be that i'm scammed or something?

I've tried searching for this amount of transactions bit didn't really found an answer. Maybe some of you can help me?

I'm really thankful for the effort in advance.

So the destination address is not the one as it was suppossed to be? It seems be a similiar issue to this thread which I answered a few minutes ago. What version Electrum do you have and where did you download it from?

Let me first thank you for replying. Really appreciate it.

The address where i send it to should be correct now but im not seeing anything on that address. Also no pending deposits.

I currently have version 3.3.7. and downloaded from a link by Bitonic where i got the bitcoins from. They recommended getting a wallet because they couldnt send the bitcoins to the other address.

So the problem is that the transaction and the balance isn't showing up in your wallet?

I thought your post was confusing so please clarify a few things:

1. To which address you tried to send the coins to (the right address)?
2. If you search this address in a blockchain explorer, do you see the transaction and balance there?
3. Did you send the coins to one of your wallets or to a website/exchange/market/etc...?
4. If you sent to one of your wallets, is your Electrum wallet (which coins you sent to) with a green circle at the bottom-right corner?

Which address is yours? Which address are you trying to send to? Who owns the address you are sending to? Who sent you the email?

The address you've listed as "received" 14b5EfgrLHkANk3YoabhW4ZT1Th7GiHHRh received 0.01500815 BTC in transaction 43388016fe4bd069def076882a1a7cbf3da8956e0aed0710ffd89d352024032c.

28 minutes later, that address then moved that 0.01500815 BTC out to address 1NrKyL9RTXTW8rJ7sx88QJiUZmyAAgWg2G in transaction 0e0f4bd8d5732883609088d8f6ae2a882eee7e617b2740e20c6f111ba19c267e.

Those addresses aren't directly linked to the address you listed as "sending". However, the first transaction above (43388016fe4bd069def076882a1a7cbf3da8956e0aed0710ffd89d352024032c) also sent 0.00532533 BTC to 1DaMm1S7cadFCdH5LBUPH7gdf4mhrej2Vp, which 50 minutes later sent the full amount to the other address you listed, 31yRCBXFnGbPXQrmJhXuvtA8RfECKtCkiU in transaction 0b62a3053f28e6c3cf9410e9a20c54c02a1d22f1fdc5d2fba321fe17342d8023.

Lots of transactions on an address usually just means the address belongs to an exchange or other service which is processing large volumes, but yes, sometimes it could be operated by a scammer.

I posted here before and then realised if you click bifcryptexs link you'll see it was a piece of copy paste maleware the address was related to (hence the large number of inputs)...

But if it was sent to an exchange (or meant to be) you could always open up a ticket with them, it won't hurt to ask.

Hi! we are sorry about what happens to you but you have to contact us by email: REMOVED or telegarm: REMOVED

thank you
Absolutely do not contact either of the above addresses. Electrum does not have a support email or Telegram. This is a scammer.
