It's really hard to believe however screenshot is not enough. You need to report these messages to one of the mod so that they can verify and you can also give the credential of your account to any DT to check in your account for you.

By the way, move it to the reputation section.

This. Without verification from an admin the screenshot is useless. PMs can easily be manipulated.

I don't know man, but senior members really need to do shit like this--and I agree with your second statement that the screenshot isn't sufficient proof of anything.  Still, I've got a bad feeling about this and that other thread.

I've gotten plenty of PMs from members I've negged asking me how much it would take for me to remove feedback, so I know other members have probably gotten similar offers.  While it might be tempting to some, it's a stupid-ass thing to do 1) morally, and 2) because you get things like this thread, where apparently after the request was made the other member blows the whistle.  Ethics aside, if you care one whit about your reputation on this forum you'd be crazy to try to extort someone via PM.

I'd be interested to hear what vlom has to say.  Has anyone PM'ed him about this?

Agree with you and giving him PM is just a waste of time after seeing this kinda reply. His thinking about trust rating is a clear sign of his aggressive behavior and now i believe he can easily remove his feedback for any amount of money. Isn't it new way of blackmailing by using DT power? All these days we have seen merit trade and account trade but today got another one "feedback trade".

Maybe providing the whole conversation as well as a mod verifying the messages will be enough to get to the whole story for the rest of the members to know what really happened, because from what I see it looks like you are having a negotiation with vlom on what price you have to pay in order for him to remove the negative feedback. Why are you even taking this negative feedback seriously? vlom isn't a DT member so his tag is counted as a untrusted feedback towards you, this won't really damage your reputation. In my opinion on matters like this you are just making the whole situation big and  you are just letting everyone know you have a negative feedback from him which I'm not even aware of in the first place.

So you're genuinely arguing that you did the right thing by trying to extort someone to pay you money in return for removing negative feedback on them? Irrelevant of whether they're untrustworthy or not, that just shows that you have weak morals and your trust ratings are completely compromised. You'll definitely be getting negated on my trust list.

for my side i forgive you it will be a good lesson for you don t insulte people when they talk with you and don t use your power to put people in bad situations ,even if it s true what you are saying about reported me if i gave 2 btc it s not the good way to do it scammers never cars about reputation i never see a scammers care about his reputation just because people lose money in nvo i am fighting everyday to improve my self and deliver my promises
