Art piece up for acquisition: Edward Snowden - Variant 02 - Decentral Eyes
Acquisition Price: 1,8881 Ethereum(roughy 3 million at current time of writing)

This message is intended for only high profile art investors that have Ethereum to spend.  I won this art piece off of a bidding war in which I acquired it for around $1,000 in Ether.  I am now setting the acquisition price at 1,8881 Ethereum which as it stands, costs around  $3,030,000 in USD.  If you are not savvy in the art market world and don't understand prices or how an art piece can cost this much then please do not inquire however if interested here is the background.

Coldie is the artist who has been developing quite interesting stereoscopic images of various notable figures in the cryptocurrency field and I happened to have seen his Edward Snowden piece.  It is a high quality stereoscopic gif and is on the front page of SuperRare.co, one of the top cryptocurrency art galleries in the space.  Currently it is their most expensive piece and I just want to relate to the future buyer that as it stands this piece has the most demand for acquisition.  If purchased I do not mind if you contact any type of crypto press or wish to elaborate on the acquisition for that will ensure that the piece gains even more value from your investment.  Also to consider is that you will be the first art buyer in cryptocurrency history to show the world that cryptocurrency art is here, has an established market and is not just a fad.  I myself have seen the cryptocurrency art space grow exponentially the last year and I don't see a decline coming any time soon.  I myself am an artist as well and have made many first 'blockchain era' works as well.

As far as transaction goes we all know how cryptocurrency operates and you can actually just purchase the art piece right off of SuperRare.co itself.  I'm also certain that you will probably knock them out of their chairs when they see this transaction happen.  Make no mistake it will be headlines and auction houses like Christie's, Bonhams and others will take even further notice.  Christie's has already had a blockchain summit in 2018 so they are well aware of what is happening in this field.  I am putting this out there because I do believe in the crypto art market and I do believe the first wave of cryptocurrency artists are making history as we speak.  I can't wait to find a buyer and I also can see this Edward Snowden piece on a big screen somewhere in a futuristic smart city years from now.

This ? This isn't optimism.... you're about 10 years to early with your pricing

Good luck with your (attempted) sale

Well I'm glad you dig it.  I actually think Coldie knocked it out of the park with the details(redacted documents, the lower right section hiding dimension/perspective until it moves).

Definitely not, I wouldn't even take Fujicoin at the pump in July 2017.  Sorry you got bags though, that sucks.  Going to be funny to see what happens to all these crypto bags in the future and who holds the networks together.  Maybe those will be collectibles......just collecting shitcoin networks.  Could happen.

I could offer you some garlicoin too I got a healthy steamy bag of fresh garlicoin too.  By chance can you authenticate you own the piece by putting a piece of paper with today's date and your username next to it to prove ownership?

You must be out of your mind listing it at that price. There is no point in creating a topic if you're not listing it for a reasonable price.

Also to consider is that you will be the first art buyer in cryptocurrency history to show the world that cryptocurrency art is here, has an established market and is not just a fad.

Are you new to this section??

One quick look at the history of bitcointalk and you will see that the art scene has been going strong for MANY years. We dont need you and your demands of multiplying your money by these vast amounts to get legitimacy.

Also 1,8881 ETH???  Do you mean 18,881?

I've been in the space for many years, you're not the only 'vet' around here.  Ease up and don't get triggered by a mere sentence.

Oh and another thing, you can even put the bid in on the SuperRare.co site.  Their art acquisition method is actually pretty nice.  Once you make an account with your address they have a record of all the bids that were placed and it keeps going up as the art switches ownership so technically when you aqcuire the art piece, SuperRare.co will keep track of the provenance of every bid and accepted acquisition and the last price that it was bought.  I think it would be better if it went through that way instead of a private buy because it would be made public and send shockwaves through the cryptocurrency community.  Just fyi and sharing my experience currently with these modern art galleries and how they operate.

Well if you don't understand art valuations, references to pop/political culture in art and emerging tech in an emerging new art world that is already bootstrapping virtual reality then I understand.  This happens all of the time in the art world(in regards to items paid for a small amount but extremely relevant and worth millions) and I am not here to explain this.  I am proposing an asking price to a buyer who sees the same thing I do in this art piece and I believe it is worth that much and a whole lot more as the blockchain art markets seep into Christie's etc in the near future.

That information is actually in the OP of this thread you dolt.  OP might be reaching in price, but is being upfront in saying they bought the artwork for 1k usd in a bidding war.

I'll repeat ...

.... you're about 10 years to early with your pricing

Viz

You seem to be under the impression that NFT is new here?

And as for "Art" there are works currently at the vanguard of the scene that will surely achieve greater value well before the NFT art scene does.
A good case in point would be the works of Cryptograffiti.

It is great to see people support emerging artists and new technology, but to seriously expect the gathered collectors here with their own long experience in Collectables and associated values; from coins, creations, canvases and the other goods that have been made over the last 10 years, to buy into your excessive valuation is wildly over optimistic.

Coldie is a great artist with an original format and makes some great works, that will undoubtedly climb in value over time, so in no way is the above a slight on his outstanding work.
