My account got hacked some time ago.
I received an email from bitcointalk that email is changed if this isn't you click the link to lock the account.
So luckily I locked the account.

Now I would like to recover my account.
I saw this link Regarding how to recover accounts :
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5089777.0
And I have a number of issues with which I need help regarding this post :

First I am a complete noob and haven't used the signed address feature even once but looked up some posts and still not so clear about that.

2nd: are second what is a signature in the following context

-----BEGIN BITCOIN SIGNED MESSAGE-----
My account <account> has been hacked/lost. Please reset the email to <email>. The current date is <date>.
-----BEGIN SIGNATURE-----
<insert address here>
<insert signature here>
-----END BITCOIN SIGNED MESSAGE-----

Here is the unedited post where I posted that address: ...

3rd: This is a link to my old profile  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=316656
The address I used here DVK9njqKkZNuBvXKfLYTGkgiAEQVnX6CbT is not a bitcoin address but a deeponion altcoin address, I just found the wallet.dat file on my pc and started the local wallet so now I can sign a message using it but I don't know if it will be accepted.
The only bitcoin addresses I have used on bitcointalk were from Poloniex and that too I did on pms and so since I dont have access to pm since account hacked and I don't think I can sign msgs using poloniex address so I don't think they will be useful at all.

My account remained offline for more than a year now as previously I didn't think I had the deeponion wallet and have no other proof to verify my account to get it back but now since I found and rebooted my old deeponion wallet I have hope that I have enough to get my account back.

any help will be appreciated .

English isn't my primary language so Sry if my post is hard to understand.

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

Did you already send an email to recovery account team?

I search your post history and found some a few address Bitcoin & Ethereum, Based on BPIP your password change at 2018-05-03 3:52:16 PM. You should contact the recovery team, describe the problem and ask them to verify the account using Sign Message ALTCOIN. Here a few addresses you can use to Sign Message, i forward here :

I think they also accept Ethereum Sign Message, you can try it since the address its a personal address not from an exchange.

Ethereum Sign Message was pretty easy to use and everyone can verify the sign message with an online site like etherscan instance you using DeepOnion Sign Message. If i not wrong, they accept ethereum sign message just include a link post where you post the address at the email/sign message.

This Btc Address 1Bmn4sUjCETqF8UJdUs9EFkapAhV5CDy7k is from Bitrex exchange . I have access to the account .
This Btc Address 17Nbse9QxPhXJJVoS9rLDzDbCZJ3m6NUGs is from Poloneix exchange . I have access to this account too .
This Eth Address 0x09D55b75DBcFf2D5E4D43d5F6A6eD2Ee483F0fA5 is from myetherwallet(MEW) . Have access to this address too , and I think MEW allows signing msgs so I think Can sign the msg using this.

I havent send any email yet because I would like to have most of the necessary information before emailing them so as this can be quick and doesn't take much of their time or effort.

There is already a guide on the forum, i would use it instead > https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5135706.0
Don't trust anything posted online outside of this forum especially when you have to interact with private keys, even here it's not 100% save but many users are keeping eye on the guides so if something fishy comes up, usually gets deleted in a short time.

Just in case, don't post your private keys, don't send them to anyone even if you are asking for help. Take advice only from reputable members (it's difficult to say but check the trust feedback on the profile, positive trusted feedback it's a good sign). Protect yourself, no one else can do it for you.

Can anyone prescribe where to get free bitcoin wallet address with private key availability?
You can easily generate Bitcoin addresses and have access to their seeds or private keys using noncustodial wallets like Electrum, Jaxx wallet, Exodus etc. When you generate Bitcoin addresses using custodial wallets or exchanges like coinbase.com, you don't own the private keys, but it's the custodial service that owns them instead, which means you can not sign a message using that address.

Are there no provision for ethereum wallet signature if bitcoin wallet does possess private keys or rather not available?
As of now, there is only one thread where people stake their Bitcoin addresses by signing a message through them. I haven't seen one for altcoins like Ethereum, but If your account is hacked, you might stand a chance of recovering it if you sign a message through an Ethereum address you posted in the forum in the past. I think the team that helps with recovering the stolen accounts looks at other things too apart from a signed message in order to recover the account.

As you can see, OP managed to recover his account - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=316656. He was last active in December 2021.

As far as i know, using non-custodial wallet doesn't mean you can sign a message, only few wallets have this feature. Even though you can access the wallet's private keys, its too risky to use a third party website or app just to make a sign message.

Using electrum in desktop can fully use the feature, i dont know what other wallets do the same.

The point I was making was about the ownership of the private keys, which custodial wallets don't give you access to. Nobody talked about third party websites, but you can still sign a message offline using the available wallets that support the feature.

I don't invalidate your point of ownership of private keys towards the using of non-custodial wallet.
All i mentioned of using non-custodial that has sign message feature if that what is all about of using it and staking address on that thread.
Knowing that you can still sign a message offline is a relief though.

What I meant is that there is no altcoin address staking thread like this one for Bitcoin but I think the team that recovers accounts is flexible enough to accept signed messages from Ethereum addresses as evidence.

I really appreciate the free wallet address link shared. Jaxx wallet did not provide the full custodial with private keys, only got the 12 phrase that i dont trust
It does.

Just tap on the 3 line on the top right corner, -->> Tools -->> Display private keys

I don't know why you won't trust the 12 word phrase yet it's a much easier way to back up a wallet as compared to a private key?

I think this user abdulmoizkhalid has done what it should be taken to recover he or her  account from account recovering team, i think this signing of message is what was asked by Gasty4 to enable Gasty4 to recover his account, i will advice to move forward for quick recovery team for further procedures or process, the only thing i noticed is that some people don't dare heat nail at it's head when issues comes up.
