Goverent, especially China's arent interested in anything they can't put authority so there's not a chane that they would create a perfect alternative coin that can dethrone bitcoin. Just the fact that they can't let anything decentralized be on their way, is a fine imperfection. China is mainly interested with blockchain technology, being a digital ledger that records transactions across many computers so data cannot be altered if not altered by other blocks, might be the reason why China is so accepting of it and not because they want to develop a new altcoin that would compete and try to bring bitcoi. down.

China will create its own cryptocurrency, it is unlikely they will be interested in bitcoin soon.
I think that in the crypto world. no one can replace Bitcoin with all its popularity, Bitcoin will still exist throughout the world.  even if there is a country that can produce some sort of coin I think it will not beat Bitcoin in terms of price or polularity.  Bitcoin is too strong to be matched in the crypto world.

No matter how much powerful China is, still there's a lot of Bitcoin fan around the world that even though they will banned entirely Bitcoin in their country will not result to dead Bitcoin, there's a lot of investors out there wishing and hoping for the price dropped of Bitcoin so they can earn more, besides that there are countries who will fully adopt it and is already planning and having a meeting with how they are going to regulate it.

Yeah fan bitcoin around the world but most power full of bitcoin investor come from China, did you remember when China president announce for legal using bitcoin as currency payment, how increase up bitcoin price, now when China created their own coin we have lost hope with bitcoin when growing up to higher price.

The President of China makes the right choice. Blockchain is too good technology to ignore. However, the adoption of Blockchain is not the adoption of Bitcoin and it is sad. China realizes that Bitcoin is dangerous, it will deny China from a share of power

but I have hope, if the Chinese government in the future will merge with bitcoin. so that it will become a digital economic power that cannot be underestimated. however, if that doesn't happen, there are new options that can create new directions.
