this is your respectable opinion, tecnically since seed nodes are not hacked or something there is pretty not much to do, improvements must be done with forks more or less, i do not get what's the deal in having or not a fancy websites that has nothing to do with a cryptocurrency.. i think a lot of people is too much attached to the fashion of a coin and not on what actively someone can do for others... paying someone for something is not using him....

I dont think that its gonna change a lot but, you can remove the last line of your .conf file :

addnode onlycash.ddns.net:56969 add

Maybe try to delete the wallet.exe completely and redownload it from source to start from scratch.

For the firewall in the doubt you could also just copy/paste the  wallet.exe to another one with another name, the firewall will ask you again the authorization. (just in case)
