Buying 3 at least for sure for immediate hashing, but as these are short term (prospero), shipping in 2 months or so, should I just buy more antminers or buy some arrow's and PRAY they ship on time?

Why don't you visit the blackarrow thread and ask all their happy customers.

Haha lol I know. But they DO ship, and 55 watts for 100 gh/s is pretty insane. The next best thing is asicminers rumored new chips something like .2 J(or W, can't remember) per gh/s.

55 watts is an estimate. They don't know for sure what the power usage will be. Estimates are typically quite lower than actual numbers.

.6 w per gh/s, so it be 60. 10% margin of error, 66 watts at the worse. Still pretty good.

Huh They haven't shipped any X1 or X3 miners based on their 28nm chips.

Ants, not even close.  Mine with a few Ants until May, sell them, then use the mined money and profit from sales to buy Antminer S2.  Mine for a couple more months, sell Ant S2, Boom, profit.

Then comes the Antminer S3....

Black Arrow had their chance to shine in February.  That 3 month delay put them in a bad light, and 1st batches are readily available for purchase due to all the refunded orders.

You do know better than that, don't you?  You're just going to trust the word of BlackArrow over an entire community of unhappy BlackArrow "customers"?

BlackArrow have delivered nothing but some ready-made Bitfury-based gear and some FPGAs from eons ago.  I'll be very surprised if they just don't vanish completely in the next month or two without delivering a working ASIC of their own design.
