I think there are many factors effect to a project, but for now i think marketing is the most important. In this downtrend market, all project go down and this is the best time to do technical. But when the uptrend, without marketing can not promote a project to as much as people.

Marketing and Unique products is one of the things I look for to make the project successful.
This is what I see today in projects that are successful even though the market is turbulent.

Marketing is the most important for a new project. If they do a good job in marketing, their project will surely attract a lot of investors and easily raise capital successfully. In 2019 I see bullshit project without products, but they have a good marketing plan and their project is still successful.

Daily many projects are brought into the market with different ideas and background.
But the question is what makes these projects to perform well in the market. No doubt good technical support is too necessary to lead the project towards success, but even with good technical support and marketing many projects can't survive.
So what matters these days is financial backup or financial support. Before entering the market a project (or ICO) should have enough financial support to compete in the market even in worst conditions.

It's my own analysis so far in this altcoin market.

It is true that funding is really needed to develop the project, when we have good technical support, a good team and have made a good and workable plan but when we don't have enough funds to develop the project, what we have compiled and done only be in vain and even the project could have stopped without notice because there were not enough funds to develop the project, so here investors also have an important role.

In fact it is quite correct, because sometimes even though the project isn't really good enough, people are still pursuing to buy and avail that particular product, especially if a very well known person advertises it and promotes it too the public. But in most cases the problem occurs if the users or already experience what the product could do, if they see it is not fulfilling its goal, then they will not pursue it any more. Just like in most of the cryptocurrencies right now, we need to always to consider not just the marketing but also the beta testing of a particular project.

Yes. The developers who are willing to  take the full responsibilities to invest their own money inside the projects have a good value of success. Using their own investment teams behind will not let the project to fall without trying to lift it and bring progressive updates to attract more investors. With such actions investors who will notice this actions from the developers will take time to check and assess the best potentials of the project.

I would say, finance support and good agressive marketing can take new crypto team to success these days. You don t even need a decent track record or real people inside team; just money and advertising is enough.

The community and the factor to encourage adoption.

There are several projects that had succeed already but weren't used still, I think this is because the adoption is just too slow compare to the developments of projects in crypto. The technical aspect is just way ahead that the current generation doesn't learn how to use it because they stray to using facebook market.   Openbazaar for example is already a success but I don't see a lot of us using it but instead new developers are trying to compete and create another when they could just create projects on top of it.

I find natural that even if a project is good other developers are going to try to create a competitor if it has not gained huge adoption, in fact that is what it is happening with bitcoin, so far only a few million of people are using bitcoin at all, and while that is a great step compared to the number of people that used bitcoin five years ago the door is still open for any coin that is any good to surpass it.

The problem is that all of those other coins do not really have any kind of original ideas in order to succeed in their mission and it is why the bitcoin dominance keeps growing even if it's price is going down.

wrong if you think like that and what happen if the owner of the project does not have enough money to make the project work. They need to have investors and participants in an ICO or IEO. In this market, most of the new projects have no capital, so a lot of projects die because of lack of operating funding.

Project teams raise money by some means. However they never invest it in the project for its development. Thats a very big minus point. They should be open to spend it and make sure to make progress in their projects.

Undoubtedly, the financial factor is important before entering the project to the market, and it is one of the reasons for the project's success as well, the smart roadmap that shows the right way in which the project will go and the plans that the project will perform on time, Also, the team that has experience and enthusiasm who accomplishes the tasks required of it on time and participates all the team in solving the problems they face in the project is a factor of success for a project.

I also thing that marketing is not a main thing behind a success project. Good quality product which really necessary for people, a great community, good quality team, trust able offer and choosing couple of good quality exchange for their product are main key point for a success project. With marketing you can earn a lot of fund but at the end of the line investor will leave and your project will be vanish which we can see maximum time now days.

That's rare cause most project I noticed is spending it on some vacation like MiracleTele, they dont bother listing in spite of raising a good money. Yeah they have product but only lasted for a while, not type of a good ICO. Project success depend on the factor of product and liquidity too.

with the existence of a real product can usually last a long time, moreover the product is growing and needed a lot of people, the project will also develop more. different from projects that only rely on trading from investors, of course, it will be more easily manipulated by certain parties

I do really believe that no matter how bad the market status is, if the team working for the project is powerful and really competent, then the project will surely make allot of improvement and profits in the market. There is always a way on how the project could survived, but to take into considerations, it is the customers that really makes the project alive, so the main thing the team should focus into is how to make their customers and users continue using their platform despite of the bad market situation.

In my opinion, the team that works on the project is very influential on the success of a project because the designs and ideas they have issued must be in accordance with what they are doing, because now we find many projects that only provide false hopes for the followers so that many have felt disappointed with their performance.
