Hello, years ago I think I watched on Youtube a video of an Enterprise that give you a debit card to withdraw cash and pay online service in internet. Similar like Payoneer but in this case you can withdraw your money with your bitcoins funds.
Is there any service that works now in 3rd world countries? (I am in South america) Many thanks!

Are you talking about BitPay? I think they have this kind of service which gives you to convert your bitcoin to Visa

Please refer to this link and see if this is what you're looking for : https://bitpay.com/card/

If so, read their feedback/customer review before deciding to use it.

Take a look at cryptopay.me, they require quite a lot of KYC, but they are probably the most adopted card, and they basically giving you a regular debit card that just drains your bitcoin balance every time you chose to use it.

There are other options however, bitpay does a great one if you want to just use an easy card, they aren't the fastest or most secure debit card though, and there are options like Wirex that are particularly good for EU residents.

Other options would include Crypterium, crypto.com and Bitwala have some great options out there, have fun picking the right one for you.

I'm personally a previous user of Xapo[1]'s debit card. I can vouch for it that it works well, as you don't even need to have fiat on the wallet. The bitcoin in your wallet is sold for fiat only at the moment you do a transaction with the debit card, which is a huge plus for me. I'm not sure which countries it supports though, as Xapo now doesn't support the country I'm currently in. Wirex[2] and Crypto.com[3](previously Monaco) is an alternative, though I don't know how good or bad it is.

Maybe you are referring to bitcoin debit cards. Actually there are many bitcoin debit cards such as Bitnovo, bitstamp, bitpay, shift,Uquid, Wirex, Spectrocoin, Revolut and many more. But the problem is that its hard to find some debit card that is available in South America usually these debit cards can be used in USA and Europe.

This is only seen in fiat for now, although I know that we now have bitcoin atm around the world, which I am still yet to get the full way they all operate if it has to do with atm or just entering of wallet address, but I believe that for atm to have existed, then surely, there will be a corresponding debit card service for it.

I am only familiar with that of fiat and I would also like to know if we have any of such service, but I think before we can have all this established fully, most debit card issuer must have gotten the support of the government to do so, and that will be when cryptocurrency market has been regulated already and we have many companies that are no longer skeptical about the use Of bitcoin as much as we have many of them right now.

Well, that's what all bitcoin payment processors like Bitpay do anyway, although I admit that having an actual debit card with which you can do this is a huge advantage.  I'm familiar with xapo and have used one of their wallets in the past, but I didn't know they offered a debit card service.

These are great ideas, but I thought there was always a barrier that prevented them from being created or released or whatever.  I thought that Visa and/or Mastercard didn't want to provide this kind of service.  Obviously I could be mistaken since it sounds like they do exist.  Anyway, I wouldn't want one myself since I don't like to spend bitcoin and would probably end up with no bitcoins whatsoever if I had a debit card.

Don't any of you worry about that, that you'll spend all your bitcoins if you can spend them so easily?  I guess I'm just a hodler at heart and I don't like watching my btc balance go to zero.

It also depends what country you are in, South America is a bit vague.
This has been discussed before:

Sure, there are a lot of Crypto-currency related platforms that offer debit cards whether it be a virtual card or a physical one. Cryptopay offers Bitcoin wallets as well as prepaid cards. https://cryptopay.me/
Convert BTC into USD, EUR or GBP, send bitcoins to friends, withdraw at ATMs and shop anywhere with cards. Also WirexApp, The Wirex Visa card automatically converts more than 12 digital currencies and traditional currencies at the point of sale, letting you seamlessly spend your crypto and multiple currencies in real life, anywhere Visa is accepted.  https://wirexapp.com/global

I haven't used any of these sites personally so be careful and remember to practice your due diligence by researching about these companies before signing up.

It looks like if your living in South America, the best 2 options you have are Bitwala (which operate in South America, per their countries), and Wirex which also operates in those regions (although I haven't used them before so no idea how good they are).

BitPay is the as the best as others already mentioned.

Er, not really. Bitpay's payouts and fees are just really bad and I wouldn't recommend using them as a payment processor, or dealing with them at all, they released first but haven't really made any improvements in the last 5 or so years.

Forget about bitpay they are shit and merchants should stop using them IMO, and go like xapo, though I'm not using xapo now so I can't tell more about the service they offered, just you need to do kyc thing for sure.

Well No, don't recommend that payment process that has a lot of claims and negative feedback.
Probably these services were offered good services.
https://cryptopay.me/ or this https://uquid.com. But ready for the possible KYC verification that usually has.

Xapo's been dead for many, many years now. Bitpay outside the US had the same card provider and has been dead just as long. It's still limping in the US.

It all depends on where OP is. There aren't any global cards any more. In the EU you have Wirex and Coinbase as the main options. In the US it's Bitpay but you can't extract cash with it any more.

Plenty of wallet companies offer a Bitcoin debit card, however most of these will not actually allow you to directly spend your Bitcoin at a store.

Instead, you'll need to access your wallet via your phone, exchange your BTC to USD or in your case South African Rand, and then you can use your card to pay.

Some of the major ones are found here: https://99bitcoins.com/bitcoin-debit-card/

Be sure the check the list of eligible countries.

I haven't used any such service myself but as far as I know there are most popularly two issuers who issue such types of debit card. One is Bitpay which also is a bitcoin transaction gateway provides direct selling of crypto at the time of payment through card while another is XAPO which too is becoming pretty popular these days. Both are pretty much secure and I haven't seen a single proven scam accusation against them. However I think they are limited to only certain countries. You can register here at https://bitpay.com/card/ and see if this is available in your country or not.

What you are looking for is Xapo wallet my friend.
Xapo has been tried and tested by me personaly but I had to switch of wallet for some security reason but trust me Xapo services is good and won't disappoint you in the long run, I've been using xapo before for 5 months and everything goes smoothly and no problem at all.

The Xapo card has been dead for nearly two years with no sign of another on the horizon. Either you have no need for one and have never bothered to check or the CEO fancies you and has been buying stuff with his own card for you.
