Yes this is indeed good news for the crypto world. With this news bitcoin rose by 20% - 40%. I believe blockchain is the future and China too seems to think so. With blockchain everything can be transparent. In my opinion altcoin season will occur if bitcoin continues to climb up to next year. Because the king must always be in front before his men.

But don't you all think this news is suspicious as I am honestly bit afraid if this is an attempt by China to hijack the crypto market as well because they were opposing it for so long and now this news comes out as a positive hope for crypto but not sure about their long term plans and thus it's too early to comment as we have no idea what's going behind the scene.

The matter right now is that we are not sure if how the Chinese government will use this system to take advantage. Same with what you have said, they are opposing it to the point that they've banned the  mining industry, and now they're bringing good news with blockchain adoptions.

Not directly speaking about crypto or Bitcoin, but the system itself that was being used where they've gathered positive movements after the president made the statement.

This Chinese altcoin fomo doesn't make any sense to me, but that's market forces for you. Markets are just fomoing for the keywords, not the rethinking the content of the words Xi used. Imho it doesn't last, the real altcoin season is not here yet. This is just a China-themed blind fomo that's happening now and that's not only happening in crypto btw.

Some Chinese companies might become whales in the companies listed: I understand what you are saying and there is truth in what you say but it's a wait and see at the moment. A Chinese bank just bought a major crypto wallet.

We can't stop how China make bitcoin and altcoin price become higher just one moment, where bitcoin can growing up with short time and China will make altcoin on higher price too, when China announce for adopting altcoin as legal payment I think price altcoin will grow up, but China will selective for which one altcoin have to make fly to higher price.
